Before Sirius could reply they both heard shriek's of terror and brought their attention back to the game only to see James hanging onto his broom with one hand in the air.
He had the snitch in his other hand but he was still dangling from his broom, easily one hundred feet above the ground.
"James Potter has caught the Snitch! But it seams that he is also about to slip from his broom!" The 'broadcaster' stated making all of the kids that weren't paying attention pay attention.
"Why aren't any of the professors doing anything?!" Sirius asked with panic evident in his voice.
"I don't know." Remus replied as he pulled out his wand.
"Merlin I hope this works." Remus thought before saying "Accio James Potter!". Just as James's grip slipped from his broom and he started to fall he was suddenly flown towards Remus.
"Oh fuck." Remus muttered before gently pushing Sirius behind him. Everyone else got as far away from that area as possible so they wouldn't get hit by James. Soon James was extremely close to them and he had moved himself so he was in an almost standing position in the air. In other words, he looked like he was surfing in the air.
"It looks like some student has Accioed James towards them to prevent him from falling to his possible death." The broadcaster stated sounding shocked but happy.
Just then James rammed into Remus causing them both to stumble backwards slightly. Thanks to Comet's strength they didn't go very far.
"Thanks mate." James said with a smile as Sirius and Remus hugged him, happy that he was safe.
There where many cheers around the field making Remus and Sirius cover their ears again.
"Are you alright?" Sirius asked James as he attempted to hide between the boys, not liking the attention on them.
"Yah I'm fine. Other than the small heart attack I had when I was falling it was actually kind of fun." James chuckled as he and Remus attempted to block Sirius from view, having caught onto what he was doing.
"That's good." Remus said with a small smile.
"We should probably get down and take you to Madam Pomphrey just incase. You already know that she will want to make sure you are ok." Sirius said as he sunk back slightly, still not liking all of the attention.
"Yah, your right. Let's go, it should be quieter inside as well." Remus agreed before grabbing Sirius's hand as Sirius grabbed both Remus's hand and James's hand.
The three of them eventually made it back down to the bottom of the field where James was almost instantly tackled into a hug.
"Don't you ever that again. You scared the shit out of me!" Regulus stated, his voice cracking because he had been crying.
"I'm sorry baby, I didn't mean to fall. In all honesty I don't even know how I ended up like that. But I promise that I will be more careful next time." James reassured while hugging Regulus back and rubbing circles on his back.
"Thank you." Regulus muttered as he hid his face in James's neck/shoulder.
While that was going on, Madam Pomphrey had rushed over to the group along with Peter, McGonagall, and Dumbledore. Peter was the first one over there. "Are you alright James? Oh shit, are you ok Regulus?" Peter asked quickly while hugging them both and then stepping beside them.
"Yah, we are fine. Just a little shaken up that's all." James replied for Regulus making Reg nod in agreement.
"Ok, also sorry Remus and Sirius. I looked for you two but I couldn't find you so I ended up sitting with Frank and Alice." Peter said just as Pomphrey, McGonagall and Dumbledore all walked up to them.
"Your fine Peter, there where a lot of people here." Sirius said before pulling Peter beside him and Remus so they where all on one side with the Professors on the other side.
"The match is over, Gryffindor won thanks to Mr.Potter catching the snitch. Everyone please return to the Great Hall for lunch and then go to your classes for the day." Dumbledore's voice boomed across the pitch, effectively shutting everyone up.
"Are you alright?" Madam Pomphrey asked James as she waved her wand around him, checking him over for the basic wounds.
"Just a bit shaken up that's all." James said as Regulus quickly wiped his eyes and moved from his hug with James. He thought he was in the way. So he moved over to hug Sirius and Remus.
"Why didn't any of you Professors try and save him? Why did a fellow student have to save James?" Someone asked as they walked up to the group.
Everyone turned to see who it was and where shocked to see Lilly Evans.
"Pardon me Ms.Evans?" McGonagall asked, clearly shocked by Lilly.
"Remus had to save James while all of you just stood there and watched him almost fall to his death! He was easily a hundred feet in the air and you all did nothing!" Lilly stated again now moving so she was next to James with her arms crossed over her chest.
"The reason why we didn't do anything us none of your business now go to the Great hall." Dumbledore said with an almost evil glint in his eye and his normal 'calming' smile.
"This school is ridiculous! It's way too dangerous!" Lilly muttered as she walked away from the group and into the castle, leaving a very shocked group if Marauders behind.
"Well I'm done, you are fine. I still want to see you all in two days for Regulus and Sirius's checkups." Madam Pomphrey stated, having zoned everyone out as she casts the spells.
Sirius and Regulus had both cut in the past, Reg more than Sirius so they both now had to have weekly visits with Madam Pomphrey so she could see if they needed to be healed or not.
"Yes ma'am. Now may we leave? I'm quite hungry." James asked trying to seem calmer than he was on the inside.
"Yes you may." McGonagall stated before Dumbledore could say anything. She also gave him a weird look earlier when he said that they couldn't tell them why they hadn't helped James.
"Thank you Professor." James said politely before grabbing Sirius and Regulus's hands and dragging them all to the Great Hall. Remus had grabbed Sirius and Peter's hands so they where dragged along as well.
Once they reached the Great Hall they all quickly walked over to the Gryffindor table. James pulled Regulus into his lap as Remus and Sirius sat next to each other, Peter sitting next to Reg and James.
And that's when James's rant started...
