•Chapter 11

After they had dropped their things off in their dorm room they all left for the Black Lake.

James and Sirius had their brooms because they would be going to the Quidditch pitch next and Remus had his books. They didn't want to have to go back to the room.

*Once they where down at the lake*

"Hey Rem, can I talk to you for a minute?" Sirius asked once James and Peter had gotten settled under a tree.

"Um... sure?" Remus said sounding confused, well that was until Remus remembered what had happened that morning. Sirius smiled and grabbed Remus's hand, pulling him to the other side of the Black Lake.

They sat down but Sirius didn't take his hand back, instead he leaned against Remus's side.

"What's happening with them?" Peter asked James as he looked up and saw them moving away from them.

"I don't know but let them be, I'm trying to get them together. Although they are doing most of the work themselves." James said with a smile.

Peter nodded and they changed the topic back to the prank for Slytherin.

"You don't have to tell me what happened if you don't want to." Sirius said while he leaned into Remus's side even more.

"Are you sure? You have to be curious as to why there are scars all over my body. And what about the scar on my face? I'm hideous." Remus asked with a sigh, allowing Sirius to wrap an arm around his waist and his torso in a semi awkward hug.

"Yes I'm sure you don't have to tell me if you don't want to. I am curious but like I said, if it makes you uncomfortable then don't tell me and I will be fine. The scar on your face is really cool looking. And you are NOT hideous, you are adorable most of the time but can look hot when you want to. You're one of those people that are both and its not very fair to everyone else." Sirius said while Remus hugged him back.

"You can't be talking, your one of 'those types of people' too. Have you seen yourself? I mean when your around other people you put on the hot bad boy act but when your just with us like now, you are adorable." Remus stated as they pulled away from the hug.

Their faces where super close, so close that they could feel each other's breath on their lips.

They started to lean in when they heard a loud scream.

Everyone quickly looked over to where they heard the noise and drew their wands. Even though everyone didn't know how to use there's nobody outside of the school knew that.

"It's that girl's friend! Lilly's friend, the Whopping Willow is going to crush her!" James yelled as the four of them ran over to help in any way they could.

"Lilly! What is her name?" Remus asked as he ran up to Lilly who was panicking.

"Her name is Alice." Lilly said as Peter tried to comfort her and get her to calm down.

"Accio Alice!" Remus said as he pointed his wand at her.

Soon Alice was being pulled towards him by an invisible force. She ducked to barely miss a branch before she ran into Remus's chest. He stumbled only a little before catching her before she fell.

"Are you alright?" Remus asked as other kids cheered.

"Yes, I have a little gash on my arm but I should be fine. Thank you." Alice replied with a smile as she held her arm.

"Of course, that looked terrifying. Hey Lilly, can you take her to Madam Pomphrey please?" Remus asked Lilly who quickly hugged Alice.

"Yes, thank you for helping her." Lilly said with a smile before she helped Alice to the Hospital Wing, Frank Longbottom helping as well.

"Remus! Where the Bloody Hell did you learn how to do that?!" James asked with a wide grin.

"I read about it in one of my Charms books. I didn't know if it would work or not though." Remus said as he turned around towards the three of them.

"Mr.Lupin, Mr.Black, Mr.Potter, and Mr.Pettergrew. My office now." McGonagall stated as she walked towards them.

All of the boys smiles flattered as they followed her.

"You just saved a girls life, why are we into trouble?" Sirius whispered to Remus as he linked arms with Remus.

"I don't know, we will see in a minute." Remus replied quietly as he blushed slightly, remembering that they almost kissed only a few minutes ago.

Once they got into McGonagall office she sat down at her desk.

"Take a seat boys." She said as she transfigured two more chairs from the original two. They all took their seats and scooted them closer together.

"What did we do wrong? Remus just saved a girls life so why are we in trouble?" James asked after a minute of silence. 

"Your not in trouble. I am going to give the house fifty points for quick thinking and bravery from Mr.Lupin here and ten more points for each of you three for bravery and helping a fellow student in need, Ms.Evans." McGonagall explained with a small smile at their shocked faces.

"That's eighty house points." Remus mumbled, shocked.

"That is correct Mr.Lupin. Now, you are dismissed." McGonagall stated making the boys smile, thank her, and then leave.

They all jogged to the Gryffindor Common Room and once they where inside they all started cheering.

"Remus, you just got us fifty points on your own!" James said while shaking Remus's shoulders.

"I know." Remus chuckled, blushing at the attention they where drawing.

"Oh shit, James our brooms are still outside!" Sirius said panicked all of a sudden.

"Oh crap." James said as they he and Sirius ran back outside and towards the Black Lake.

*Once they where out there*

"Oi! Malfoy! Get down from my broom!" James yelled as he saw Lucas flying on his broom.

"Come and get me Potter." Lucas teased as Severus laughed at the scene from the ground.

"Here, use my broom." Sirius said as he handed James his broom...
