"Well it all started when Sirius and I where younger. We had been learning how to be a proper Black and had just finished our lesson on manners. Ever since then if we didn't use our manners then our mum would hex us. Or she would get someone or something to beat us. She did this for multiple things and Sirius would normally take the blame for me so be would get the worst beatings. I would try and convince him to stop and say that it was me but whenever I did they would punish us both or just continue to punish him. Then Sirius was disowned and everything I did caused me to get a punishment. I thought they would hex me because I didn't say thank you when Severus told me about the breakfast thing and I stuttered when I told Lucas. That alone would have gotten me three lashes with the belt and a curse or two. We got used to it so now we have a high pain tolerance, so she moved to the Curcio curse." Regulus said with an emotionless face.

Once he was done Sirius moved to hug Regulus as McGonagall, Sev, and Lucas all looked shocked and the other Marauders looked sad and pissed.

"Thank you for telling me, I have to go and tell Dumbledore. You are all free to go, oh and if any of you tell anyone about this then you will be punished." She stated before leaving her office and heading to Dumbledore's.

"I am so sorry you had to deal with that. I am sure McGonagall will find a way to help though." Sev said with a small smile before he and Lucas left the room.

"How about we go get some fresh air?" Peter suggested while they all walked out of the room.

"We can after we take Reg to the Hospital Wing." James stated as he moved them so they where walking to the Wing. The others nodded as Regulus attempted to protest.

"I really don't need to go, I'm fine." Regulus said only to have James come over to him.

"Yes you do, don't try and argue because you will loose. We are almost there anyway." James said while wrapping one of his arms around Regulus's shoulders.

Regulus stiffened before melting into James's embrace. He wrapped both of his arms around James's torso and put his head into James shoulder/chest. This caused James and Regulus to stop walking.

James put his other arm around Regulus out of reflex.

Sirius, Remus, and Peter noticed that they had stopped walking and looked over at them. When they saw what was happening James gave them a "I don't know how this happened but I don't mine it." Look while Sirius and Peter squealed and Remus smiled at them.

"Hey, I don't mind this but we still need to get to the Hospital Wing. Do you want to get on my back or do you want to keep walking?" James asked, still not moving from the hug. Regulus had seemed to snap out of his trance and quickly pulled away from James.

"Sorry, I don't know why I did that." He said quickly with a dark blush.

"Your fine, I don't mind. Now come on, lets go to the Wing." James said as he grabbed Regulus's hand and they all continued to walk. James and Regulus where blushing brightly.

Once they got to the Wing Madam Pomphrey she ushered them to a bed and sat them all down. James and Regulus sitting on one of the beds while Peter sat in one chair and Remus sat down with Sirius in his lap in the second chair.

"Alright I am going to do the same tests I did on your brother in his first year ok?" Poppy - Madam Pomphrey - said as she raised her wand.

Regulus flinched when she raised the wand but registered what she had said and said "Alright, thank you." While James gave his hand a reassuring squeeze. Regulus smiled lightly at him as Madam Pomphrey cast her spells.

After a few minutes she sighed and started talking. "I am afraid you have the same as your brother did, you have bruises and gashes all over his body. Along with cuts, some deeper than others. I will heal them but some of them well, they are made by magic. You will be put in pain for those. Oh and you are terribly touch starved. You also have some burn marks and scaring that I am sure you already knew about. The healing process will be pretty painful but it shouldn't be terrible. " She explained making Sirius look like was going to cry again.

Peter looked shocked that both Sirius and Regulus had going through so much pain. Remus looked sad and hugged Sirius tighter. While James pulled Regulus closer to him.

"You don't have to heal them, nothing hurts and I am fine." Regulus said while cuddling into James, his body craving the affection.

"I do have to heal them, there is no way that nothing hurts, and you are far from fine." Poppy stated in a stern but almost comforting tone before she started to heal the small wounds that wouldn't hurt him.

Regulus sighed and cuddled closer to James. James complied and wrapped his arms around Regulus, pulling him closer. After a few minutes Regulus was about to fall asleep from the comfort and warmth coming from James and the quiet room but then Madam Pomphrey started talking again.

"Alright, now I am getting to the more painful ones. The last one should hurt the most because it is the deepest gash." She explained making Reg nod. She started to heal him and he was fine for the first few thanks to his high pain tolerance and the distraction of James.

"Alright this is the last one. Its going to hurt quite a bit." She said with sympathy in her voice.

"Is it as bad as the Curcio curse?" Regulus asked while looking up from James's chest to look at her.

Madam Pomphrey looked shocked "No its not, I would never do anything to a student that would cause that much pain." She stated with a worried look.

"Then I should be fine. I was just starting To become immune to that too." Regulus muttered bitterly as he cuddled back into James.

Pomphrey looked extremely worried as she did the final spell and didn't really bat an eye when other students would cry out in pain or cry or do something. "I'm done but I want you to come back here in two weeks so I make sure everything is still healed." Madam Pomphrey stated as they all got up.

"Thank you Madam, I will be sure to come back then." Regulus said formally making her smile at him. "These boys should not have had to deal with this." She thought as they all left.

"See you later Poppy!" James said with a smile as Regulus gently hit his shoulder, scolding him for her.

With that she left back to her office with a small smile.
