Yoongi ♡ Stormy Night [request]

I stood by the window, watching the heavy rain pound violently on the glass. The drops of precipitation were so large and forceful, I was afraid the window would break. I knew that wouldn't happen, but the nagging feeling in the back of my mind kept telling me it would. The clouds were so dark and dense, shrouding Seoul in a sinister shade of gray. I'm not particularly fond of storms like this. I'm fine with rain showers, but heavy thunderstorms are something else.

"Hey Y/n, have you seen my phone charger?" Yoongi's voice pulled me away from my thoughts.
I actually forgot he was here. We've been best friends for years and he's made it a habit to come over whenever he pleases. I've learned to get used to his spontaneous visits.
"I think I saw it in the kitchen." I answered, giving him a quick glance before turning back to stare at the monsoon outside.
A long streak of purple flashed in the sky, a low rumble of thunder sounding seconds after. I watched the water droplets on the window roll down to the bottom, seeing which one would get there first.
"I found it." Yoongi announced, stepping into the room. "What are you doing?"
"Watching the rain." I responded.
"The weatherman says it's gonna be like that for a couple days."
"Great." I muttered sarcastically.
Two large streaks of lightning flashed across the dark sky.
"Woah!" Yoongi exclaimed. "That was big."
"It's kinda mesmerizing." I commented.
"Really?"
"Yeah. I can't look away. It's nice watching thunderstorms, but I haven't seen one like this in a while."
Suddenly, a loud rumble of thunder boomed in the sky, the whole building shaking. A scream left my mouth before I could stop it. Yoongi busted out into a fit of laughter causing me to frown.
"I thought you were fascinated with storms." He teased.
"I am. It just caught me off guard." I answered shakily, stepping away from the window.
Yoongi was still laughing a bit which irritated me.
"I'm glad you find me getting scared humorous." I rolled my eyes.
"Aw, c'mon Y/n I'm just playing around."
"I know you are." I sighed.
More thunder rumbled outside, not nearly as loud as the previous one. I walked past Yoongi and headed to the living room. He followed behind me, grabbing my hand, turning me around.
"Hey." He called out softly. "Don't be mad."
"I'm not."
The lights flickered a bit, making me instinctively latch onto Yoongi. He chuckled at my reaction. I was quick to push myself away from him.
"Don't you dare make fun of me." I pointed.
"I wasn't." He held his hands up defensively.
I briefly narrowed my eyes at him before turning around and walking away into the kitchen.
"Oh, I got a drink out of the fridge. I hope you don't mind." He spoke up.
"It's fine. I buy extra drinks because you're always over here."
"Why do you say it like that?" He raised a brow, a playful smirk pulling at his soft, pink lips.
"Because you're always over here."
He chewed on his lip for a moment. "Yeah you're right. I appreciate you being so considerate." He gave me a pat on the back. "Maybe I should buy your favorite snacks and keep them at my place for when you come over."
"I don't come over to your place very often."
"Yeah, why is that?" He frowned.
"Because you're always here, dummy." I gave him a light smack to the back of his head.
He just laughed in response.

Thunder rumbled quietly outside as the storm passed. The rain would pound on the roof for a few minutes and then ease up for a little while, only to go back to raining heavily. Yoongi and I were on the couch watching tv when a loud chorus of thunder shook the house. I jumped, grabbing onto Yoongi, my eyes squeezed shut.
"Hey." Yoongi's arms wrapped around me. "It's okay. It's just thunder."
"I know. It just scared me." I opened my eyes a bit.
The lights began flickering again, but this time, they went off completely.
"Oh no." I sighed.
The apartment was completely silent, the sound of rain and thunder was the only thing that could be heard. More thunder shook the building, my body going stiff.
Yoongi looked down at me, his brows knit together worriedly.
"Come here." He pulled me closer to him, rubbing my back in an attempt to calm me down.
I clutched onto his shirt, my head buried in his chest. I just want him to keep holding me.
"It's just a storm." He reassured me.
I nodded.
"Hey, look at me." He urged me softly.
I looked up at him.
"I have something that'll distract you."
"What is it?"
He pressed his lips against mine, the action immediately taking my mind off the storm outside. All I could think of was Yoongi's lips on mine. I closed my eyes, melting into the kiss almost immediately. I moved closer to him, my lips pressing firmly to his as an intense heat burned my cheeks. He brought one of his hands to my head, his fingers finding purchase in my hair. I readjusted myself, sitting on his lap, my hands moving to his raven locks as his free hand moved to my waist, gripping tightly. My head tilted slightly, my lips sliding together with his as I gave him a few more longing kisses. I parted from him, feeling dazed and breathless.
"Did that distract you from the storm?" He asked, panting softly.
"What storm?" I smirked.
He let out a raspy laugh before leaning in again, capturing my bottom lip between his once more.
"I wasn't even sure that would work." He whispered against my lips.
"What do you mean?" I questioned.
"I expected you to push me away. I didn't think you'd kiss me back." He admitted.
"I've been crushing on you for quite some time. There's no way I would have pushed you away." I cupped his cheeks.
"Well, since we've already locked lips, I guess it wouldn't hurt for me to ask if you'd be my girlfriend."
"No it wouldn't. In fact, I think that's the proper thing to do." I played along with his cute act.
"Okay then. Y/n, will you do the wonderful honor of being my girlfriend?"
I pressed my lips together to keep from laughing at his cheesy way of asking me out.
"Yes."
A bright, gummy smile took over his face before he leaned in again, continuing our unfinished makeout session.
