"Good morning." I greeted Namjoon as I stepped into the green room. He sat in the makeup chair, a book in his hand. "Morning." He returned the greeting with a friendly, dimpled grin. "It's a bit cold out. I heard the photoshoot is outside. Will you be okay?" "Yeah. We've done plenty of shoots out in the weather before." "Alright, but if you catch a cold, I'm gonna kick your butt." He chuckled at my playful remark. I set my things down and started working on his makeup. He sat still in the chair as I brushed foundation along his face, his eyes trained on the book in his hands. I've been Namjoon's makeup artist for a year. We have a wonderful relationship and are always cutting up and teasing each other. I don't think the other makeup artists have the same kind of bond with the other boys which, in a way, makes me happy.
I moved to Namjoon's sharp brows, filling them in a little and brushing a spooley through them. When I pulled away, I noticed him narrow his eyes a bit, sucking on the inside of his cheek as he read something that caught his attention. The reaction alone sent my heart racing. He's only reading, yet he looks so good while doing it.

When I started this job, I told myself I wouldn't develop feelings for any of the members as it could possibly jeopardize my career. However, things change.
I pushed my emotions away as per usual, grabbing the eyeshadow brush and getting started on that. Namjoon closed his eyes long enough for me to get one color on his lids. When I stepped back to grab a new brush to apply a second color with, he started reading again, pausing when I went in to apply the eyeshadow. "You're really invested in that book aren't you?" I asked, turning around to grab a lip tint. "I am. It's very good. It's well-written, has beautiful grammar, characters you can really relate too, and the storyline is gripping." "If you like it, it must be really good." "It is. I can lend it to you when I'm done if you'd like." "Sure. I'd like to give it a read and see what all the hype is about." "You'll love it. I promise." I took the cap off the lip tint, leaning down to spread it across Namjoon's full lips. I couldn't help but bite my own as I applied the pink colored cosmetic. When I pulled my hand away, Namjoon pressed his lips together, slathering the tint. "How do I look?" He asked, peering up at me. "Perfect." I gave him a thumbs up. "Now for your hair." "That would be my job." The hairstylist announced, walking over to my area. "I'll let you take it from here." I told her. While the hairstylist was busy setting everything up, I gave Namjoon a small wave, before heading off to sit down on the couch.

A couple days later, Namjoon finished the book he was reading and lent it to me. Since he loved the book so much, I got to reading it as soon as possible. In the following days, I would talk to him about what I read. We would discuss the storyline, characters, and I would tell him what I thought would happen next. Naturally, he would never tell me if I was right or wrong.
