"Knock knock." You announced, stepping into the dorm.
Your older brother, Jin, had given you a key to his place if you ever wanted to stop by. Of course, you knew he lived with six other men so you never just dropped in, even though he said you were welcome any time. You didn't want to be rude, so you waited until he invited you over.
"Jin. Hello?" You called as you walked through the dorm, your footsteps echoing through the place.
There was the faint sound of muttering coming from somewhere down the hall. You didn't want to be nosey, but you needed to find Jin, so you moved down the hallway and to the door.

"You suck at this." You heard a voice on the other side.
"I suck? If I recall correctly, I beat your butt the last round."
The second voice clearly belonged to Jin.
"You both suck." A different voice grumbled.
You gave a gentle knock to the door, announcing your presence.
"Can I come in?"
"It's Y/n." You heard Jin whisper. "You two better be on your best behavior."
"I can hear you."
"No you can't."
You rolled your eyes.
"I'm coming in." You announced, twisting the doorknob and stepping into the room.
On the floor was Jin and a guy with lots of tattoos and a lip piercing. You turned towards the bed, spotting another guy. He had a relaxed expression on his face, his sharp eyes moving over to look at you. Your heart thumped heavily in your chest when you made eye contact with him, your whole body feeling stuck in place.

"So this is Y/n." The one with the lip piercing commented.
"Yes and she's off limits, so don't even think about it." Jin jabbed the dark-haired guy in the chest with his index finger before turning to you. "Sorry I couldn't greet you. I got distracted."
"It's fine. So, are you gonna introduce me or not?"
"Oh, right. This is Jungkook." He gave the guy sitting next to him a firm slap on the back. "And that's Yoongi."
He gave you a small wave from his spot on the bed. "Jin's told us quite a bit about you."
"He has?"
"Yeah. He also told us we needed to behave when you came over... whatever that means." Jungkook snorted.
"Why don't you join us?" Yoongi offered, sitting up on the bed, patting the spot beside him.
"You sure? I don't want to impose."
"Go on and have a seat, Y/n." Jin told you. "Then you can watch me beat Jungkook's butt."
"Yeah right."

And that's the day you fell for Min Yoongi. It was pretty much instantaneous. At first you thought it was an innocent crush, but after you spent more time with him, your feelings bloomed quickly. Unfortunately, that wasn't the only thing that started blossoming.
It was a month after you met Yoongi that you started having trouble breathing, easily becoming short of breath. You brushed it off and continued to hang out with the guys that you'd grown so close to.
Then, you started coughing up blood. It was only a little, but it was alarming. It wasn't when you started noticing tiny flower petals mixed with the blood that you realized how dire your situation was.
You had only heard of a few cases of this illness. It develops when the love you have for someone is not returned.

You had the Hanahaki disease.

"Can you pass me the kimchi?" Hoseok asked Taehyung.
"Only if you act cute for me."
Hoseok rolled his eyes, then proceeded to make cute faces paired with little noises.
You, Jimin, Taehyung and Jungkook laughed while Namjoon and Jin cringed. Yoongi acted like it didn't phase him, but you noticed he was holding back a small smile.
"You've ruined my appetite. Thanks." Jin grumbled.
"I don't think that was good enough." Taehyung stated. "You need to try again."
"No way. I'm not doing that again. Give me the kimchi."
"Y/n, what do you think?" Taehyung asked, looking at you from across the table.
You pretended to think about it before answering.
"I don't know. I think he can do better than that."
"Yeah." Taehyung agreed, swiveling his head towards Hoseok. "I think you should do it again, but better this time."
