Elf! Reader x Elf! Yoongi uwu
I had this idea randomly one day watching an ad for the Macy's Thanksgiving day parade, but it also kinda seems similar to Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer. Either way, I thought it was a cool idea so I hope you enjoy!
*flashback*
Christmas Eve
"There she is." The doctor grinned. "Your new daughter."
His smile fades rather quickly as he looked down at the newly born baby.
"What is it?" The woman asked.
"Her hair... it's pink."
"What?"
The doctor hands the baby over, small tufts of cotton candy pink hair stuck to her new daughter's head.
"What's so wrong about it?" The woman inquired, looking up at the doctor.
"Well, nothing. It's just uncommon."
"It doesn't matter. I'll love her no matter what her hair color is."
She looks down at her baby, a small smile on her face. "My sweet Y/n."
Your POV
20 years later
I rush across the factory, carrying a new batch of barbies to the boxing station.
"Come on, Y/n! Hurry!" One of the elves shouts.
"I'm trying!" I shout, rushing back to my spot at the assembly line.
I got stuck at the end of the line today, so when a box gets full, I carry it over to an empty table for packing and we start again.
As the doll bodies roll down the belt, I grab a head from the doll parts box and pop it on the body, setting it back on the belt and watch it travel to the end, falling into a large box. I can feel myself starting to sweat a little. This is hard work. You'd think we'd be getting much more accomplished, especially with the thousands of elves working at once, but no. Christmas is 22 days away and we're all hard at work. The big man stays in his office checking the list most of the time. He does come out to check on us and see how production is going. Mrs. Claus is usually the one that spends the most time around the workshop. She brings us cookies and other delicious baked goods for lunch every day, so I can't complain too much about the work. It's all well worth it.
I glance up at the clock, seeing that it was almost quitting time. I get my second wind and am able to stay on top of my work until the toy belt stops. I breathe a sigh of relief, stepping away from the machine and stretching my arms and back. Finally, it's time to go home.
I step through the threshold of my house and close the front door, the warmth inside welcoming me with open arms. I pull my hat off, tossing it on my bed. I walk over to my dresser and remove my h/c wig, revealing my naturally colored pink hair. I let out a sigh and place the wig onto a mannequin head.
"This thing is such a hassle." I frown.
I remember when I first started working at the workshop. Santa came to my parents house and insisted I wear a wig. My mom was hesitant about it at first, but Santa was so persistent. He just didn't want me to get made fun of. In all honesty, I didn't want to get made fun of either, so I agreed. I've been wearing it ever since. It's such a bother. It's itchy and makes me sweat, but I do it so I don't stand out. It's for the best.

I woke up the next day and put on my work outfit which consisted of red and white striped tights, black boots, and a green dress with buttons along the front. I put on a bit of makeup, slipped my wig on, making sure it was secure, and placed my hat on my head before walking out and heading to the workshop.
Mrs. Claus stands in the doorway with a warm smile on her face.
"Good morning, Y/n!" She greets.
"Morning." I smile.
"Would you like some cocoa and pastries before you start work?"
"That sounds great."
"You can go to the cafeteria with the others. I've made plenty for everyone."
"Thank you Mrs. Claus." I wave and walk off.
The cafeteria was bustling with elves, most of them seemingly in a hurry to finish their food and get to work. I let out a deep breath and walk over to the large table, grabbing a cup of cocoa and a pastry before stepping away from the large group and began looking for a seat. My eyes scanned the large cafeteria, spotting an empty seat. I walk over to the dark haired guy, sipping what looks like coffee.
"Mind if I sit here?" I ask.
He looks up at me as if he didn't even notice I was there.
"Yeah, sure." He says, turning back to his drink.
I take a seat and start eating quietly.
The guy turns to me, looking at me for a moment. I notice and glance his direction.
"I'm Yoongi." He reaches his hand out.
"Y/n." I introduce myself, shaking his hand. "You're not having cocoa?"
"Not really my thing." He shrugged. "I prefer coffee. It gives me more energy anyway."
"Maybe I should try that sometime." I chuckled lightly. "Some days I can barely get going. Especially in December."
"Me too." He moved some of his hair out of his eyes. "This time of the year is so busy. I feel like I can never get enough sleep."
The two of us were able to have a short conversation before we had to get to work.
"Which station are you working at today?" I asked as we walked out of the cafeteria.
"Attaching wheels on scooters. You?"
"Painting wooden toys."
"That sounds fun. I think I got to do that last Christmas. I painted flames on a wooden truck."
"Really?" I laughed amusedly.
"Yeah. It was pretty awesome." He grinned.
