Jin ♡ Werewolf AU [request]

The plot for this was my sister's idea <3
I always try to credit her when she helps me out lol

My thumbs work haphazardly, pressing buttons and wiggling the joy-con as I try to pass the level I'm currently on. I dodge hits coming from the final boss, pressing more buttons and making hits at the large creature, causing its life bar to get shorter. I've been stuck on this level for weeks and I think I'm about to finally beat it.
"Yes. Yes. Yes." I chanted under my breath. "Almost there. Almost."
I pressed a few more buttons, getting one last hit in, watching the final boss fall down, collapsing onto the ground.
"Yes!" I exclaimed, my hands raised up in the air in victory. "Finally!"
After my short victory celebration, I return to the game, moving on to the next level, excited that I can finally play it. As I did so, Jin stepped into the room.
"Hey sweetheart, you busy?" He asked softly.
"Kind of." I answered, my eyes not leaving the screen. "I just beat a level I've been stuck on for months and I've moved onto the next one."
"Oh. Alright, I'll just come back later."
I don't really notice him leave the room, too engrossed in the game. I continued pressing buttons, my attention completely focused on the screen as i maneuvered my character over obstacles and collecting coins. I soon finished the level I was on and moved onto the next one, completely forgetting about Jin until he came into the room again.
"Hey. I know you're probably busy, but do you wanna watch a movie?"
"Sure." I muttered. "Just let me finish this level first."
"Okay. Let me know when you're done."
"Mhm." I hummed in response.

3rd Person POV
Jin left the room, letting out a sigh. He wants to spend time with his girlfriend but she's clearly too busy with her video game. He took a seat on the couch and waited for Y/n to finish the level she was playing, assuming she would come to the living room when she was done.
Thirty minutes passed, then an hour. He glanced towards their room where she was, debating about wether or not he should go and remind her that she agreed to watch a movie with him. He finally decided he would give her a little while longer to finish the level she was on before he went back there.

Jin is a very patient person, especially for a werewolf, but after waiting for two hours, he was starting to get fed up. It had been two hours since Y/n told him she was going to watch a movie. He heard Y/n leave the room and go into the bathroom. Now was his chance. He stood up from the couch and went straight into the bedroom.

Your POV
I stepped out of the bathroom and headed back into the bedroom where I had left my game. I picked up my Switch, noticing the screen was off. When I left the room, I had just completed yet another level and had the map of all the different levels open, but now the screen is black. I went to turn it on, seeing that there was no game in it. A huff of frustration left my mouth as I set my Switch on the desk.
I headed into the living room where Jin sat on the couch, staring at nothing.
"Hey babe, you didn't happen to take the game cartridge out of my Switch, did you?" I asked, knowing he was the only person that could have done it.
"Maybe I did." He answered nonchalantly.
I was immediately irritated by his answer.
"Why?"
"You've been too preoccupied with that game."
"Give it back." I demanded.
"No."
"Give it to me, now." I told him, sternly.
"I'm not giving it back."
I stalked over to Jin, determined to get my game back.
"C'mon. Where is it? In your pocket?" I asked, reaching towards his pants pocket.
His hand thrust out and grabbed my wrist before I could even get close to his pocket.
"Don't even think about it." He warned, his voice becoming much lower and threatening.
"I want my game back." I told him.
"You're not getting it back."
I clenched my jaw, trying to figure out how to get the game back. I know the chances of me actually succeeding are little to none, especially since Jin is a werewolf, but I have to try something.

With my wrist still in his grip, I lunged for him, but he was too quick. He got up off the couch, releasing my wrist and letting me fall onto the cushions. I was quick to recover and jumped to my feet, tackling Jin. He let out a grunt, stumbling back. He easily got me off of him, but that didn't stop me. I tried to reach for the pocket of his sweatpants but he stopped me again, this time grabbing both my wrists.
"All this over a game?" He asked.
"Yes!" I grunted, trying to get my wrists out of his grip.
I stuck my leg out, kicking him behind the knee and making him lose balance. His knees hit the floor as he released my wrists. I took the opportunity to try and grab my game cartridge from his pocket, but was stopped once again.
When Jin looked up at me, his eyes were glowing yellow and his canines had extended into long fangs. His pointed ears stuck out from his lengthly hair and his nails were replaced with sharp claws. He knew shifting into his werewolf form would make him stronger than usual. That didn't faze me, though.

I managed to get him on the floor, the two of us wrestling for the upper hand. I somehow was able to get him in a chokehold. He let out growls as I held him in place. I growled back.
"How do you like that, huh?" I asked.
He let out another deep growl. In response, I bit his ear. He let out a yip, surprised by my actions.
"That's what you get for stealing!" I shouted, my voice strained as I tried to hold him in place. "You wanna play dirty and be a wolf? Fine, I can do it too!"
"Let go of me! This is ridiculous!" He demanded.
"No."
Jin reached back, his hand finding my ribs where he began tickling me.
"Ah!" I shrieked, my arms loosening.
Jin continued tickling me, giving him the perfect opportunity to gain the upper hand. And he did. He pinned me to the floor, his shoulders heaving up and down as he panted, trying to catch his breath.
"You wanna know why I took your game cartridge?" He questioned breathlessly.
"Yeah, I do."
"You said you were gonna watch a movie, that was two hours ago."
My face immediately fell.
"Was it really that long ago?" I asked softly.
"It was."
I frowned.
"I didn't realize I had been playing my game for that long. After I beat that one level, I was so excited to explore new ones that I completely got sucked into the game and lost track of time."
Jin sighed as he slowly shifted back to his human form, a sympathetic look on his face.
"I'm so sorry, Jin. I should have kept my word."
He nodded.
"I promise I'll watch a movie with you." I told him.
A small smile spread across Jin's plush lips. "Thank you, baby."
He got off me, allowing me to stand up. I watched him reach into his pocket, retrieving my game cartridge.
"Here."
I took it from him. "Thank you. I'll go put this away and you can choose the movie."
He smiled brightly, happy that we would be able to spend time together, finally.

I placed the game back into my Switch and set it aside. I was already in comfortable clothes, so I just grabbed a blanket and headed back into the living room.
Jin had a list of movies pulled up, scrolling through them. I sat down beside him on the couch, laying the blanket over our laps.
"How about this one?" Jin asked, referring to the movie title highlighted on the screen.
"Yes! I've been wanting to watch that one."
"So have I." He smiled, selecting the movie.
Jin scooted closer to me, his arm draping over my shoulders as the opening began to play.
"I'm gonna be honest, you spent so much time playing your game, I was starting to get jealous." He admitted.
"Seriously?"
"Yeah." He chuckled.
"You had a right to be. I was focused more on that than you, and that's not okay."
He turned to me with a soft smile on his face, pressing a kiss to my cheek.
"I promise I won't let myself get distracted by video games anymore."
"Good. Because if you do, I'll hide your game again. And it'll take more than a little brawl on the carpet to get it back." He smirked.

I realize that Y/n fighting like that over a simple game cartridge was a bit much, but it was for comedy and entertainment purposes lol it had to be done.
