Seokjin stands at the drive-thru window of the local McDonalds, his eyes droopy, shoulders slumped in disinterest.
He hates his job. He would much rather be at home playing PC games rather than working this lame minimum wage job.
You, however, had just come back from your part-time job and wanted to grab something to take home with you. Upon reaching the drive-thru, a male's voice emitted from the speaker.
"Welcome to McDonald's, what can I get you?"
The voice sounded flat, disinterested, and possibly even annoyed. You knew whoever was on the other end did not want to be there and, of course, you being you chose to mess with him a little.
                              Your POV
After checking to make sure there were no cars waiting in line behind me, I started my order.
"Yeah, can I get a-uhhhhhhhhhhhh BigMac? But without the sauce and also without the extra bun in the middle."
"Anything else?"
"Can I get fries too?"
"Do you want the meal?" He asked.
"No, no. Just the burger, fries, and a drink."
"That is a meal."
"No. I'm good."
"Will that be all?"
"Actually, I change my mind. I don't want any of that."
The items I ordered, disappeared from the screen.
"What would you like?" He asked, clearly getting impatient.
"I'd like a 10 piece McNuggets."
"What to drink?"
"Uhhhhhhhhhh."
I sat, quietly for a long moment.
"Order when you're ready." The man said.
"Yeah, actually can you scratch that?"
"You don't want the McNuggets?"
"No."
Again, my order was taken off the screen.
"I'd like a large iced tea, please."
"Is that all?" He questioned, agitation clear in his tone.
"Yes, that's all."
He gave me my total and I pulled up to the window, a dark-haired man with a strong build stood at the register. His annoyed glare was aimed at me as soon as I pulled up.
My heart jumped when I saw his face. He's hot. Despite his laser sharp glare, he looked handsome—too handsome to be working at a McDonald's. His strong and sharp brows were perfectly sculpted along with the rest of his face; his lips were full and had a natural pink tint to them, making him look even more stunning than he already was.
He repeated my total, pulling me from my trance.
I blinked a few times, putting a big smile on my face.
"Sorry, can I add a quarter pounder to my order?"
His eyes narrowed.
"Sure." He forced out, tapping the keys on the register.
I glanced at his name tag while he was preoccupied. The tag read: Jin.
He gave me my new total and I handed him the money.
"Sorry my order was so crazy. I just couldn't seem to make up my mind."
"That's alright." He answered, his jaw ticking as he handed me my receipt.
"Oh, can I also get some McNapkins?" I asked.
The expression on his face seemed to darken as his jaw clenched. The look he gave me practically screamed, "You just pushed too far."
I was a bit scared, but played it off with a bright smile.
"Yeah. I'll make sure you have extra."
"Thank you." I smiled, pulling up to the next window.
A man with dark hair worked busily, filling up a cup. His hair had a few waves to it and the top half was pulled into a small ponytail. Hanging from his ears were four different silver hoops, his entire right arm was covered in tattoos, even his hand had tattoos scattered along it.
The man slid open the window, giving me a smile, a silver eyebrow piercing glinting in the natural outdoor lighting.
"Here's your tea." He handed it over. "Your food will be ready in just a minute."
"Thank you." I glanced at his name tag reading: Jungkook.
"I love your eyebrow piercing, by the way." I added.
"Thanks." He grinned. "I just got it last week."
"Really? I could never do that."
"It wasn't so bad. Then again, I have a pretty high pain tolerance, as you can see." He gestured to his inked up arm with a grin.
He closed the window and continued working. Just a few moments later, he handed my bag to me.
"Here you go." He smiled.
"Thank you."
"Have a nice day."
"You too." I gave a final wave before driving ahead and pulling into an empty parking spot to check my order like I always do.
When I opened the bag I was surprised to see a chicken sandwich and not the quarter pounder I ordered. I pulled out my receipt and checked it, making sure my correct order was sprinted on there. Sure enough, it read quarter pounder, yet here I was with a chicken sandwich.
I huffed in disbelief, knowing exactly who was responsible for this.
