Jin ♡ Makeup Artist [request]

The many eyeshadow palettes and cushion foundations were lined along the vanity neatly, all of the eyeshadows open and ready to be used. Various colored lip tints sat with the rest of the cosmetics and makeup tools; the whole setup looking rather promising.
I straightened up one of the brushes that was slightly askew, moving back to admire my work.

"Perfect."

Just then, the door to the green room opened and in walked the boys of BTS.
They dispersed, heading to different stations. Jin came to mine.

"Hello." He greeted me with a warm smile.
"Hello. I'm your new makeup artist, Y/n."
"Nice to meet you."
I gestured for him to take a seat, which he did.
"Are you nervous?" He asked.
"Sort of."
"Ah. That's understandable. I know it's easy to get nervous when you're around someone as handsome as me."
"Oh." I responded, slightly taken aback.
"Sorry." He chuckled. "I'm just joking. There's no need to be nervous. You'll do a great job."
"Thanks."
The boys were doing a photoshoot for their upcoming album. The concept was something along the lines of a fantasy theme.
I started by prepping his face for makeup before moving on to foundation.
"You have fantastic skin." I commented as I applied a bit of foundation to his cheeks.
"Thank you." He smiled, the compliment seeming to cheer him up. "I have good genes."

Just then, a few staff members walked in carrying cameras. I stopped what I was doing, watching them get set up.
"It's okay, they're just filming stuff for our behind the scenes." Jin informed me. "No need to be worried."
"Ah." I nodded, continuing with his makeup.
Once I got the base, aka the foundation and brows, I moved on to the most important part—eyeshadow. To me, eyeshadow is the main part of a makeup look. It can really make someone's eyes stand out and capture everyone's attention.
Since the theme was fantasy, my mind immediately went to glitter. I grinned, taking one of the eyeshadow palettes and dipping into a nude pink color as a base. I spread it across Jin's eyelids before taking a bit of shimmery peach color and putting it on his eyelids.
He looked up at me as I checked out his makeup, giving a nod of approval before grabbing a liner. I used a nice neutral brown to line the outer edge of Jin's eyes, dragging the line out a bit to really define his eye shape. I went back and took the shimmery shadow and used it along the bottom of his eyes. The slight sparkle to the eyeshadow really brightened up his eyes.
I stepped away for a moment to scan the vanity for anything that seemed useful.
"Ah."
I reached for a plastic sheet of small gem stickers. I grabbed a pair of tweezers and removed one of the studs, getting close to Jin's face so I could apply one to each eye, right at the inner corner. I chose the smallest gems on the whole sheet which worked flawlessly. They weren't too gaudy nor were they too little to see.
"Almost done." I told him before skimming the lip colors.
Jin has beautiful lips so I knew he needed something to make them stand out. I grabbed a light colored tint stick, applying it to his lips as a base color. I then went in with a darker peach tone, giving him a nice gradient lip. To top off the look, I added a bit of gloss to really make his lips shine.
I dusted my hands off, stepping back, a proud grin on my face as I admired my work.
Jin looked at his reflection in the mirror, his eyes widening, jaw hanging in awe.
"Wow." He turned his head left, then right. "This is incredible! I hardly even recognize myself. I look like some kind of fairy."
He quickly turned to the guys.
"Look at what Y/n did!" He announced.
"Woah!" Hoseok exclaimed.
There was collective mumbling amongst the boys and even the other stylists and staff members.
"I want my makeup like that." Jimin voiced.
"Me too! But I'd like a green colored eyeshadow." Taehyung piped up. "Like a nature fairy."

I felt a bit shy being the center of attention. I wasn't expecting my makeup look to get so much attention on day one.
Thanks to Jin and his endless bragging, I received compliments from the other makeup artists and even the members themselves.
As Jin was getting his hair done, I noticed he couldn't seem to stop staring at his reflection.
