You watched as Yoongi talked on the phone, a small, pleasant smile on his face as he nodded, listening intently to the person on the other end. You already knew who it was—his mother. He calls her every single day. You don't even know how they have things to talk about. He loves his mom dearly, and you admire him for that, but sometimes you feel like your relationship isn't just you and Yoongi.

"Okay. I love you too. Bye."
Yoongi hung up the phone and returned to the living room, taking his place beside you on the couch.
"Mom says hi." He told you.
"That's nice. How is she?"
"She's good. She said she misses me."
"Hm." You hummed. "I'm sure she does."
It had only been a week since he last saw his mother and she already misses him. Well, you could understand. She was his mother, after all. If you love someone enough, you can miss them after not seeing them for even one day.
"Ah. So I was telling her about that issue I was having with my music and she suggested I add in some piano." Yoongi spoke up.
"Why didn't you just ask me? I probably could have helped."
"Well... I didn't wanna bother you."
"It's fine." You sighed, standing up from your seat. "I'm hungry."
Yoongi shot up from the couch. "You wanna call in something for delivery?"
"Sure."
"You want our usual?"
"That'll be fine."
Yoongi grabbed his phone, stepping out of the room for a moment to place the order.

The sound of him on the phone became background noise as your mind began filling with doubts and worries.
You couldn't seem to let go of the fact that he spoke to his mother about his music instead of you. Wouldn't it have just been easier for him to ask you? I mean, you're in the house with him. He could get an answer from you quicker than he could his mom. Were you not good enough? Did your opinion not matter to him? Maybe he didn't want your opinion. The only one he seems to care about is his mom's.

Yoongi returned to the room moments later, a gentle smile on his face.
"Okay. The food is being prepared right now." He notified you.
"Good. I think I'm gonna go hop in the shower real quick." You told him.
"Alright, then. Enjoy."
Truthfully, you just wanted to be alone with your thoughts. You'd been thinking a lot lately, mostly about you and Yoongi. Weighing options, thinking about decisions that might have to be made, and the consequences that came with those decisions.
Things were different when you and Yoongi first started dating. He was the perfect guy in your eyes. Then, as you began spending more time with him, you noticed he would often bring up his mother. At first, you brushed it off, but after moving in with him, it got worse.
You hadn't realized how much of a mama's boy he was until you were around him nearly 24/7. You tried not to worry about it too much and just be thankful that you found a really great guy, but you're almost at your wits' end.

You sat on the couch with your head resting against the back of it as you let out a sigh. There was so much pressure in your face it felt like someone was squeezing it. It was agonizing. You'd been feeling a little under the weather for a couple days and wether you liked it or not, you knew you were coming down with something.
Yoongi entered the room, glancing at you in your sickened state.
"You alright?"
"No." You whined, your voice sounding extremely nasally thanks to your stuffy nose. "I feel like garbage. I'm sure I've got a cold or something."
"Can I get you something? A warm cloth, cold medicine, maybe some soup?"
"I already took some cold medicine. Soup sounds nice, though."
"Alright. There's a restaurant just down the street. I could order some and go pick it up." He offered.
"Sounds good." You nodded.
"You know, mom says jjigae with pork is really good for colds. It'll make you feel much better."
You grumbled at the mention of his mom.
"I might have a recipe for it. If I can't find it, I can give her a call. She says it's better homemade."
"Soup from a restaurant will be fine. I'll get it quicker that way." You responded with a sigh.
"You have a point." Yoongi nodded. "Well, either way, I'm sure some jjigae with pork will make you feel better."
"Whatever." You groaned, waving him off.
Sometimes he can't go a day without mentioning his mom. It's beginning to get annoying and you don't know how much more you can take.
"Mom says..."
"That reminds me of that time mom..."
"Mom would love this."
"I'll hurry back." Yoongi stated as he headed out the door.
You didn't say anything in response, you were too tired. Your entire body ached and you were incredibly fatigued. You couldn't be up for very long without feeling like you were going to pass out. In short, you were absolutely miserable.
