Your consciousness started to return as you slowly slipped out of your slumber. You could feel the bed sheets caress your bare body as you stirred, your eyes starting to peel open as remnants of sleep dissipated. The bedroom was dim, save for a thin sliver of light filtering in between the thick curtains where they hadn't been closed completely. The golden rays were cast upon the white comforter on the bed, stretching across the colorless surface, the light reflecting off the pearly fabric, illuminating your husband's face as he slept. The covers rested just above his stomach, his large arms and perfectly tanned skin on display.
A smile of adoration unconsciously spread across your features as you admired him, taking in every single detail. His face was squished against the pillow, causing his lips to look extra pouty. His hair was sticking out in a few places from sleeping (and maybe from the events of the previous night).

Your cheeks flushed as blissful memories replayed in your head, images flashing through your mind.
The soft touches, the gentle words of encouragement, the loving praises, and the way he looked into your eyes. It was new, exciting, and nothing like you'd ever experienced. Maybe because you, in fact, hadn't experienced it. You felt so incredibly close to him, not just physically, but emotionally. It was as if your souls had connected, making a bond that couldn't be broken.

You were a bit nervous at first. Looking back, you realize you had no reason to feel that way. He was so good to you. He constantly asked if you were okay before doing something, wanting to make the experience enjoyable for the both of you—and he did. You felt like you were in a state of bliss. Your body at times feeling like it was floating.
Last night was wonderful and something you'd never forget.

You reached out to caress, your husband's face, glancing at the ring on your finger as you did so. Everything that's happened so far has seemed like a dream, but it wasn't. It was as real as the man sleeping in front of you.

"Namjoon." You whispered as your thumb rubbed circles on his cheek.
Small snores escaped him as he continued to snooze away. A soft, fond smile played at the corners of your mouth as you gazed at him. You chose to lie there for a little while longer and admire the man you'd be spending the rest of your life with.
Your fingers lightly traced down his back, following the curve of his shoulder blades and the slope of his lower back. He let out a soft sigh, indicating that he was slowly beginning to wake up.
"Namjoon." You called his name again, keeping your voice low.
He stirred ever so slightly, his arm unconsciously reaching towards you, hooking around your waist as he rolled onto his side.
"C'mere." He mumbled, his voice much deeper than normal as he tugged you towards his bare chest.
His morning voice was heavenly. You knew he often had to speak in a higher voice on account of people not understanding him well, so hearing his real voice laced with sleep was otherworldly.
"Joon, we should get up. Don't you think?" You inquired in a gentle voice.
"Not yet. I just want to lie here with you." He responded, drowsily.
"Alright, but only for a little while."

The two of you had a destination wedding at a tranquil beach; it was a small ceremony with only close friends and family attending. Afterwards, a private wedding reception was held at the resort the two of you were staying in. You danced with Namjoon as well as his members, who you'd gotten close with over the duration of your relationship with your now husband.
Yoongi kept to himself for the most part, but did step out onto the dance floor for a little while. As soon as he entered the space, Hoseok dragged him out to the middle where he stood for a few seconds before doing some silly dance moves, wiggling his butt and arms before walking away like nothing happened. It was quite the sight and made you laugh. You loved Yoongi's bouts of energy.
Jin and Jungkook had multiple dance battles, which were judged by none other than Hoseok. Speaking of the bubbly boy, he dominated the dance floor, capturing everyone's attention and stealing the spotlight from you and Namjoon—neither of you minded, though. In a way, he provided some entertainment for the two of you—who needs a wedding singer when you have Jung Hoseok?
Taehyung had some interesting dance moves, one being finger-tutting, something he had been practicing a lot lately. Jimin... well, he raided the bar and ended up getting wasted. He was already a confident, social butterfly, but that alcohol really amplified that. He did a sultry dance of sorts to one of the songs playing and at one point began to unbutton his dress shirt. If Jin hadn't dragged him off the dance floor, everyone would have gotten a strip tease provided by Park Jimin himself.

After the reception, you and Namjoon hurried off to your hotel room for some much needed alone time, ending the night with a memorable and momentous event filled with passion and unadulterated love for one another.
Today would be your first official day of your honeymoon and you wanted so badly to see what the beautiful island had to offer, but at the same time, you were enjoying being in Namjoon's embrace. After all, you had the rest of the week to go out and explore.

Namjoon's large chest moved up and down with each breath as he held you close to him, his fingers running through your hair. He was gentle, his digits tickling the base of your neck slightly each time he combed them through your locks. His body heat radiated from him, bringing you a sense of comfort.
"Joon?" You murmured.
He hummed in response.
"I love you."
"I love you too."

This was my first time writing an imagine with implied intimacy. Giving the theme of the imagine, I wanted to be realistic about it. However, since I don't write smut, I wanted to be vague about the whole thing while also focusing on the emotional aspects and I think I did a pretty good job! :)
