I stepped out of the taxi, duffle bag in hand as I headed up the stone front steps of my apartment. I had gone to visit my parents for the weekend. It was really nice to see them again, especially considering the fact that I hadn't seen them in a couple months.
I opened the front door and stepped inside the building, ready to see my beloved boyfriend, Yoongi. I stepped onto the elevator and rode up to my designated floor. I walked down the hallway and stopped in front of the entrance, carefully sliding my key into the lock and opening the door. As soon as it opened, I saw Yoongi who was standing directly in front of the door.
"Yoongi!" I exclaimed. "Why are you right in front of the door?"
"I smelled you." He answered bluntly.
"Right. Werewolf senses." I chortled, stepping inside and closing the door.
"Let me get that for you." Yoongi immediately reached for my duffle bag, shuffling out of the room with it.
He returned a few seconds later, a small smile on his face that made his already round cheeks look even rounder. He walked up to me, pulling me into a gentle embrace.
"I missed you, kitten." He hummed, his head resting on my shoulder.
"I missed you too, bub." I reached up to run my fingers through his dark locks.
"It's nice that you visit your parents, but I hate being away from you."
"I know. But it's never for more than two or three days." I reassured him.
"Yeah, that's true." He pulled away with his nose slightly scrunched up. "You always come back smelling weird, though."
"It's probably my parents' house. It's vintage."
"Hm." Yoongi hummed. "Anyway, how was your visit?"
"It was really nice. We went out to a nice restaurant and went for a walk by the river."
"Sounds peaceful." Yoongi commented as he led me to the living room.
"Oh! And I got to see Felix. My parents were talking about how great it is to have him there." I mentioned. "They were telling me how much he missed me. I think they're trying to guilt me into coming around more often."
"Oh." Yoongi muttered, picking at his nails. "Sounds like he enjoys your company."
"Absolutely. We've always been super close. I know I'm his favorite."
"So you two know each other pretty well?" He asked.
I nodded with a grin.
"I talked to him all the time and told him my problems. He's a fantastic listener. He doesn't always have much to say but he was always there for me when my parents couldn't be. I spent many nights in my room with him crying about boys that broke my heart or friends being jerks."
"I'm glad he could be there for you. Now you have me." Yoongi smiled, taking my hand in his. "Now that you're home, why don't we spend some time together?"
"That sounds nice. What did you have in mind."
He stepped towards me, his arms wrapping around my waist. "You, me, a hot bath with lots of bubbles and candles." He listed off as he began swaying us from side to side.
"Now you're talking." I grinned, cupping his cheeks.

Minutes later, the two of us were lying in a tub of hot, bubbly bath water.
I was laid against his chest, the fruity scented bubbles surrounding the two of us like clouds in the sky. Yoongi's hand rested on my waist, his thumb slowly rubbing up and down in a soothing manner.
"You know," I spoke up. "I would have never thought werewolves enjoy bubble baths."
Yoongi let out a chuckle. "Well, some do."
"I find it endearing."
"Endearing?" He questioned my word choice.
"Yeah. Werewolves are often portrayed as tough and scary creatures when they're actually just big puppies."
Yoongi let out a chortle. "Some are tough and scary. I've met my fair share of werewolves who have gone power crazy and lost their humanity. It's upsetting to see."
I frowned a bit, a damper put on the playful mood by Yoongi's comment.
"People lose their humanity?" I questioned.
"Unfortunately. Usually it's humans who have been turned. They're so overwhelmed with power, they think they can do anything and they use that power for ill intentions."
"That's sad. I'm glad you're not like that." I smiled.
"I was born like this so I've had to live with it my whole life."
"You know, I don't think you ever told me what it was like growing up as a werewolf. I'm sure it was hard to keep it a secret."
"Sort of. I shifted for the first time at the age of 16. Most of my classmates were learning how to drive, meanwhile, I was learning how to control my shifting."
"That must have been difficult."
"It was." He sighed. "My parents were very open with me about the whole werewolf thing, so I kind of always knew that would be something I would eventually have to deal with. That doesn't mean it was any less difficult. As for keeping my identity a secret, it wasn't too difficult. I had other friends who were like me, so I could talk to them about things."
"If you could be human, would you?" I questioned, my hands unconsciously playing with the suds, making a tiny mound of bubbles that floated along the surface of the bath water.
"Not at all. I love being the way I am."
I turned my head and looked up at him with a smile.
"Me too."
A small smile tugged a Yoongi's lips as he looked away, obviously feeling a bit shy hearing my compliment.

After a relaxing bath, Yoongi and I spent the rest of the day laid in bed together watching tv. Yoongi doesn't seem like the clingy type, but he is, especially after I come back from a visit with my parents.

Yoongi's POV
I had just gotten back from picking up a few of Y/n's favorite snacks. As I approached the front door, my ears picked up Y/n's voice from somewhere inside the house.

"Yeah, I'm doing well.... What? You want me to come back already?" She laughed. "I just visited two weeks ago."
I assumed she was talking to one of her parents.
"Is Felix there? I'd like to talk to him."
My brows furrowed. Seconds later, I heard her speaking into the phone.
"Hi Felix." She said in a singsong voice, her tone now much higher. "Aw. I miss you too. We'll see each other again soon."
The air was silent for a moment before I heard her speak again.
"Thanks mom. I miss Felix a lot. I kinda wish he could come live with Yoongi and I, but I don't think he would like that very much."
I clenched my jaw, deciding to finally step inside and make my presence known.
"Oh. Yoongi is back. I gotta go." I heard her say. "I love you too. Bye."
Y/n came shuffling into the entryway with a smile on her face.
"What did you bring?" She asked excitedly, her eyes locked on the bag in my hand.
"Why don't you see for yourself." I tossed the bag to her.
She grabbed it, looking inside, a smile forming on her face.
Part of me wanted to ask her about this Felix guy, but I decided to wait. I can't automatically assume she's talking to another guy.
"Thank you!" She giggled excitedly, hugging me. "Should we open some now?"
"Sure. We can go play some computer games together."
"Yes! Let's do that."

A few minutes later, the two of us were sat at the computer together and I was watching him play a PC game, cheering him on.
"Babe, babe, babe. Right there." I pointed. "Ooh, watch out!" I exclaimed as Yoongi pressed buttons like crazy.
I gripped onto the pillow in my arms as I watched Yoongi's character battle it out with a large troll monster.
"Hit him in the head!"
Yoongi pressed a few more buttons on the keyboard, his character's weapon slicing through the monster.
"Yes!" I held my arms up. "You did it!"
Yoongi chuckled as he watched me celebrate.
"What?"
"Nothing." He shook his head with a grin. "It's your turn to play now."

*Two Months Later*

I stepped inside, returning from another visit with my parents. Yoongi was right by the door, eager to greet me. He was quick to grab my bags, carrying them to our shared room where he began helping me unpack.
"How was the visit?" Yoongi asked.
"Good." I hummed, setting my stack of dirty clothes into a pile. "Mom made my favorite meal. Dad and I watched reruns of old tv shows and the three of us played board games together. Mom and I also went out for a spa day and went shopping."
"That's nice. I'm glad you had fun." Yoongi commented, carrying my pile of dirty laundry to the hamper.
"Felix was so happy to see me again. He wouldn't stop clinging to me and following me around." I spoke up, letting out a small chuckle.
"I see." Yoongi's jaw clenched along with his fists.
"He slept in my bed with me while I was there. He stayed by my side every night."
I received no response from Yoongi, the air becoming quiet, causing me look over at him. I noticed a rather irritated look on his face, his claws beginning to grow as he tried to hold back anger.
"Yoongi, what's wrong?" I asked him, worriedly.
"You always talk about how much you love Felix. You talk so freely about him as if your boyfriend isn't standing right in front of you." He answered frustratedly. "At first I was okay with it, assuming he was just a close friend and not interested more, but the way you've been talking about him has really started to get on my nerves."
"Baby." I chuckled. "Felix is my cat."
Yoongi blinked a few times, obviously trying to process what I just told him.
"What?"
"Felix is my cat." I repeated.
His face then scrunched in distaste. "That's why you reek of feline when you come back from visits with your parents."
"Yes." I chuckled, only to stop immediately. "Wait. Reek? Is it that bad?" I questioned, smelling myself.
"You won't be able to smell it."
"I know. I just wanted to check." I muttered.
"Wait." I tried to hold back a laugh as I came to a realization. "This whole time you were jealous of a cat."
Yoongi frowned. "I wasn't. I thought he was a person. I had a valid reason to be jealous."
"Still." I chuckled, zipping up my now empty duffle bag and placing it back into the closet.
"You're not seeing him again." Yoongi spoke up.
"Are you still jealous?" I asked turning towards him.
"No." He looked away.
"Yoongi, I'm gonna visit my cat wether you like it or not."
He let out a deep breath in response.
"Maybe you can come with me next time and meet Felix. I'm sure he would love you."
"No thanks." He cringed.
