Taehyung ♡ The Lost Boys AU

I made that edit as a nice little visual for this AU :)

The Lost Boys is another one of my favorite movies. I'm sure not many of you have seen it, but I've been considering an AU based off this movie for quite some time and I finally feel like I can execute it well, so here it is! I hope you all enjoy.

"Finally!" I announce, letting out an exasperated sigh, flopping down on the bed.
Taehyung walks over, and lies down beside me, small drops of perspiration on his forehead from all the heavy lifting. He turns to me, dark brown strands of hair falling into his eyes.
"Welcome home." He smiled.
"Yeah." I chuckle lightly. "Welcome home."
"We should do something to celebrate." I suggest.
"Like what?"
"Dunno." I mumble.
"Oh. When we were driving in town today, I saw there's gonna be a fair tonight. They're gonna have all kinds of cool stuff there. We could go to that?"
"Hey that's a great idea! Let's do that."

Later that night, Taehyung and I get ready to head out to the carnival.
"What do you think?" I ask, sauntering in the room like I was wearing a high fashion outfit. In reality, I was just wearing some shorts and a hoodie.
"Sexy as always." Taehyung grinned. "How do I look?"
"Like a model. As always." I comment, earning a giggle from him.
He was wearing a simple outfit that consisted of black pants and his favorite Celine shirt, but he looked so fine. It fits him so well and shows off his firm chest very nicely. He knows that's my favorite shirt on him.
He grabs the car keys, twirling them around his finger. "Let's go babe." He said, giving me a flirtatious smirk.
"Good idea. We should go, or else we won't be leaving the house tonight." I say, hurrying past him, but not before checking him out.
"Troublemaker." He chuckled before closing the door and following me to the car.

The setup they have at the fair is amazing. There's so many rides, food carts, and tents with different businesses set up. There's an ear piercing tent, a henna tattoo tent, and one that does caricatures.

"Wow." I marvel at the bright lights and vast array of fun activities.
"Where should we start?" Taehyung inquired.
"No clue." I breathe. "There's so much."
"What about the carousel?" Taehyung suggests.
"That's a good start. Let's go."
We manage to catch the carousel just as it stops. The two of us jump on and start looking for an animal.
"I want the zebra." Taehyung said.
"I'll take the black horse next to it." I say as I climb onto the plastic animal.
After everyone gets situated on the ride, it slowly starts moving.
"I think I heard music somewhere over there." I point.
"Yeah, there's supposed to be a band here tonight performing live music."
"Wow. This fair has everything."

After we got off the carousel, the two of us started browsing the games and tents. I walk over to one that has jewelry on display. I start briefly skimming over the products, my eyes landing on a set of bracelets.

"What did you find baby?" Taehyung asked, looking over my shoulder.
"These bracelets." I hold them up. "They're just simple bracelets but I like the little tassel on them."
"Me too. They're cute."
"And affordable." I say after glancing at the price small tag attached.
The sales lady, who was busy with a previous customer, walked over to us.
"Hello." She greeted with a smile.
"Hello." Taehyung and I reformed friendly smiles.
"Oh you picked the couple's bracelets." She comments, taking notice of the dark blue bracelets I had in my hand. "You two look like a sweet couple. Those bracelets would be perfect for you."
"You think so?" I ask.
"Of course."
"We'll get them." Taehyung spoke up.
I look over at him and see that he's pulling some cash from his wallet. He hands it over to the lady who has a pleased smile on her face.
"Thank you, and enjoy the fair."
"Thank you." We wave to her and walk off with our new purchase.
"That was nice of you." I say.
"I thought they were kinda cute. Here, let's put them on now."
We stopped by a trash can and discarded the tag and the trying attaching the bracelets together. I held my wrist out and let Taehyung put mine on, tightening it to fit my wrist. I did the same with him, smiling as I looked at our matching bracelets.
"C'mon let's get a picture." Taehyung pulled his phone out. I moved in close, both of us holding our hands up to show our new purchases while showing off bright smiles.
"Cute." Taehyung giggled. "Let's go find something else to try out."
