The next day, Tres went to work early kasi gusto niya agad matapos yung gagawin niya.

"Aga natin, boy buhok ah!" Rome said and tried to ruffle his hair but Tres swatted his hand. "Aray ko naman! Badtrip ka ata?"

"Hindi, masama lang gising." Tres said habang naka-focus sa laptop niya. "Si Wes?"

"Sa site siya ngayon eh. Bakit?" Rome answered.

"Wala lang. Miss ko na eh." Tres said and chuckled.

"Wow, sana all." Rome said and chuckled as well as he sit on his corner and started working.

"Sup, Tres." Cheska said.

"Uy, Ches." Tres said without looking at her.

"Up for lunch?" Cheska asked.

Napatingin naman si Rome sa kanila habang nakangiti ng nakakaloko.

"Uh, sorry, Ches. May lakad kasi ako eh. Kaya nga maaga ako ngayon, para matapos ko na agad 'to. Sorry, maybe next time." Tres answered.

"Oh. Okay, next time na lang." Cheska said and walked back to her working area.

"Ako, Ches, free ako! Ako na lang isama mo!" Sigaw ni Rome.

"Hindi, busog pala ako. Next time na lang, Rome!" Cheska said.

"Gonzales, for three at the buzzer??? Missed!" Tres said and laughed.

"Gwapo mo eh, no?" Sabi ni Rome at natawa na lang rin.

After ni Tres sa trabaho niya, umalis agad siya para i-meet si Dev. Yep, he'll meet her.

"Ano na naman 'to? Kakabati lang namin ni Vaughnn, ha. Umayos ka." Dev said when she arrived at the restaurant where they'll eat.

"Pwedeng maupo ka muna bago ka magsungit?" Tres said sabay tayo at ipinaghila siya ng upuan. "Oh, upo na. Titirik pa mata eh." He said and chuckled.

"Ano nga?" Dev said.

"Order muna, pwede?" Tres said at tinawag yung waiter. "Paki-bigay nga sa kanya lahat ng pagkain niyo dito."

"Napakayabang mo." Dev said and rolled her eyes. "Don't listen to him. Just give this and a glass of wine." She said at itinuro sa waiter yung order niya.

Tres chuckled, "I'll just get the same. Hindi ko alam i-pronounce yung iba niyong food eh." He said which made him and the waiter laugh pero si Dev, inirapan na naman siya.

"Can you make this quick? Busy akong tao, okay." Dev said.

"Make this quick eh yung inorder mo, 20 minutes to prepare?" Tres said. "Just enjoy my company, doc. You have to get used to it."

"Ugh. You're so annoying!" Dev said.

"Hahaha. Joke lang." Tres said. "May good news ako sayo." He said with a huge smile.

"Ano? Natanggal mo yung pirma? Nakakuha ka ng bagong paper? Hindi na ako magiging mommy ni Kobe? Ano?" Sunod-sunod na tanong ni Dev.

Tres smiled, "Hindi, hindi at hindi ulit." He said. "Hindi ko natanggal yung pirma, hindi ako nakakuha ng bagong papel at lalong hindi pwedeng hindi ka maging mommy ni Kobe."

"Eh anong good news dun?" Dev said.

"Hindi ba good news yon? Ano, best news?" Tres said with a grin.

Dev sighed deeply, "Alam mo, hindi ka nakakatuwa." She said.

"Hindi naman ako nagpapatawa." Sabi ni Tres.

"Fuck you.." Dev whispered.

"Hala, narinig ko yun, doc. Ikaw, ah." Sabi pa ni Tres na lalong ikina-asar ni Dev.
