Two weeks na since Tres had his surgery. Three weeks to a month yung usual time frame where patients who've gone brain surgery wake up if na-coma sila. It could be longer but of course, everyone's hoping na wag na mas tumagal pa than a month.

"Ate, you don't have work today?" Max asked.

"I don't, baby. Why?" Dev asked back.

"Nothing. I also don't have school today. Can we play?" Max said and sat beside his sister on the couch.

"Play what?" Dev asked.

"Anything. Maybe, a PS4 game?" Max said. "NBA?"

Dev smiled, "I have a better idea. What if we get you a PS5?" She said.

Max's eyes grew wide, "Oh my God, ate! Really?!" He exclaimed.

"Well, you're a good boy, you study so well and you make all of us proud. I guess, yeah, ate will give you a reward!" Dev said.

"Yey! Thank you so much, ate!" Max said and hugged her.

"Okay, okay. You're excited, I get it." Dev chuckled. "Now, take a bath, get dressed and we'll get you that PS5."

Max excitedly ran to his room to take a bath which made Dev laugh a little bit because he tripped on the stairs. She must admit, she missed her family so much. Matagal rin siyang nag-stay sa condo niya at hindi nakakauwi dito unless pauwiin siya ng parents niya.

Naligo na rin siya at nag-prepare para makaalis agad sila. When she got down, Max is already waiting for her in the living room, all dressed up and ready to go.

"Ready?" Dev asked.

"Super ready, ate!" Max answered.

"I'll drop by the hospital first, ha? I'll just do something there." Dev said while she's driving.

"Sure, ate. Anything you want!" Max said.

Dev chuckled, "Bait mo today, ah." She said.

"Of course! I want that PS5!" Max said and giggled.

"Obvious nga." Dev chuckled.

When they reached the hospital, they went straight to the ICU. Bibisitahin lang naman niya si Tres kaya sila dumaan dito.

"We'll visit your boyfriend?" Max asked.

"What? He's not my boyfriend." Dev said with a chuckle.

"Weh? Dad said he is." Max said.

"He did?" Dev asked.

"Yup. Also mom. They said that if he wakes up, he'll be my kuya because he is your boyfriend." Sabi ni Max.

Dev can only shake her head at how crazy their parents can be.

"Where do you wanna stay? Here outside or at Ate Bianca's office?" Dev asked.

"I'll be fine here." Max answered and smiled.

"Okay. You're a big boy na, ah. Don't go anywhere." Bilin ni Dev sa kanya.

"Aye aye, captain!" Max said and gave Dev a salute.

"Okay. Did you bring your phone?" Dev asked.

"Yup. I'll be just play here." Max answered and showed his phone to her.

"Okay okay. I'll be quick, promise." Dev said and went inside Tres' room.

While Dev's inside, Max just played games on his phone. He was so engrossed in the game he's playing that he didn't even notice someone sat beside him already.
