How Would You Feel

It's been a week through Tres' therapy and he's doing really well. Few more sessions and he can actually get discharged and go home.

"Bro, di pa ba dumadating si Dev?" He asked Angelo when he woke up.

"Bro?! Ako, bro???" Angelo said.

Tres chuckled, "Anong gusto mo?" He said. "Ano, si Dev? Wala pa ba?"

"Wala pa. Di ko sure kung may clinic siya today eh." Sagot naman ni Angelo. "Kuha lang ako gamot mo sa baba. Behave ka dito, ha."

"Sure. If makita mo si Dev, pasabi miss ko na siya." Tres said and smiled.

"Landi nito!" Angelo said which made Tres laugh.

He left to get some of the medicines Tres has to drink and while in the hallway, he heard people talking.

"Ano na naman kung nag-text siya sayo? Don't tell me, pupunta ka?"

"Eh baka lang kasi.."

He's sure they're Bianca and Dev but he chose not to meddle with them and went straight inside the elevator.

"Baka lang kasi gusto lang ng closure?" Dev said.

"Anong closure? May nag-cheat bang nag-closure?" Bianca said.

"Meron. Si Joshua at Julia.." Dev answered.

"Oh eh hindi kayo si Joshua at Julia. Budoy lang yang ex mo pero, hindi. Tigilan mo yan Dev, ha. Hindi niyo kailangan ng closure." Bianca said, not really wanting Dev to meet Vaughnn.

Nag-text kasi si Vaughnn kay Dev, asking her if they can meet and talk. He didn't say why but Dev just assumed that he want to have closure nga since they never really had that naman. They just broke up and never talked again. But there wasn't really this formality that they're really over. That talk that would either restrict them to talk to each other again or would actually lead to more talks with each other, as friends.

"Isn't it a good thing? Na parang he still cares about what we had that he actually thought of ending it formally?" Dev said.

Bianca sighed, "Kailangan ba talaga formal? Girl, he cheated. That in any sense would never reach formality." She said.

"Eh bakit ba kasi ayaw mo? Sandali lang naman yun eh." Dev said.

"I have a bad feeling about it kasi. Duda ako sa closure lang." Bianca said.

Dev creased her forehead, "Biancs, I'll go there for one reason only and that is to close the chapter of my life with him. If he wants something more than that, I will never let it happen." She said.

"Dev, dun naman tayo sa totoo lang, diba." Bianca said as they enter Dev's office. "Marupok ka, girl. Baka ngitian ka lang nung gunggong na yun, bumigay ka na. Alam mo, I trust you naman. Alam kong mahal mo si Tres and you would never intentionally hurt him. Pero, tanga ka kasi talaga eh. Sobrang bait mo, sobrang soft mo at sobrang rupok mo talaga, sis. I'm just here, being a friend." She said. "Prevention is better than cure. Alam na alam mo yan, doc."

Dev sighed and sat on her office chair, "30 minutes?" She said.

Bianca sighed too, "See? Ayan, ganyan. Ganyan ka karupok. And I'm not saying na kay Vaughnn lang, ha. Sa lahat ganyan ka. Look, mapupuno na 'tong office mo ng bulaklak. Ano 'to burol?! Bakit? Kasi, you're too kind to still let Eli give you these. Tas yung competitive mong pasyente, nagbibigay din."  She said.

"It's rude naman kung hindi ko tatanggapin yan from Eli.." Dev said.

"And there's nothing wrong with being rude kung may dahilan ka naman. Lalo na that you already told him to stop." Bianca said. "Mukha ka lang talagang bichesa pero hindi mo rin naman kayang panindigan. Si Jas lang kaya mong tarayan eh."
