Tres smiled, "Don't be. This will make you really happy. I think." He chuckled again. "Uhm, love. Will you--"

"Shit, brownout!" Dev said.

"What the?!" Tres said.

"Love, hindi kita makita." Dev chuckled.

"Ah, ganyan, ha." Tres said.

"Hahaha, joke lang!" Dev said. "Tara na sa baba. Dala mo ba phone mo? Open your flashlight."

"Wala akong phone. Iniwan ko sa baba." Tres said.

"So, paano?"

"Bakit, bulag ka ba? Kita naman yung daan, ah."

"Ikaw mauna." Dev said. "Pero, wait. Ano nga yung sasabihin mo kanina? Narinig ko, will you eh. Are you proposing?"

Tres chuckled, "Love, sabihin mo lang kung kasal na kasal ka na, okay lang namin kahit bukas agad tayo. Diyan kay mayor." He said.

"So, you're not?" Dev asked.

"Nope. I will just ask you if you'll be willing to be Kobe's mom." Tres answered. He saw the surprised look on Dev's face so he chuckled. "Pasurprise-surprise ka pa, ha. Eh ako din, may surprise. Sakin sila kakampi siyempre. Mas close kami eh."

"What? Why would they snitch on me?!" Parang batang sabi ni Den.

Tres chuckled, "Coz they love me more than you." He playfully answered. "Love, Kobe's living with us." He said and showed Dev a paper.

It's the foster license, making them eligible to be Kobe's foster parents. They can take him with them so they can do matching and then proceed with the adoption.

"Oh my God, love!" Dev said and hugged Tres. "This is the best day ever!"

"It is, love. It is." Tres said.

"When can we get him?"

"Tomorrow. Kanina lang 'to binigay sakin ni ma'am Mari eh." Tres answered. "She said that we all showed enough care and love for Kobe, for them to grant us the foster license."

"Oh my gosh, I'm so excited! I'm finally gonna be a mom!" Dev squealed.

"Thanks, love." Tres said.

"For?"

"For this. For loving Kobe as your own. Thank you for helping me with this and for keeping a baby from having an incomplete family." Tres said and wiped a lone tear that fell from his eye.

"Awwe, love." Dev said and hugged him. "I did this because I know how much you love Kobe. Tsaka, I fell inlove with him na rin. He's such a cute ball of sunshine and he deserves a complete family."

Tres smiled, "I hope mom and dad's proud of me." He said.

"I'm sure, they are." Dev said. "We can visit them, with Kobe, soon."

"We definitely should. Alam ko miss na din nila ako eh. Baby boy kaya nila ako." Tres chuckled.

Dev ruffled her hair. A gesture, only exclusive for her.

"I love you, mahal." She said.

"I love you." Tres said and they shared a kiss.

The next day, parehas maraming trabaho yung dalawa. Gustuhin man nilang sunduin na si Kobe, hindi nila magawa kasi nga busy sila parehas.

"Maybe, we can do it tomorrow?" Tres said on a video call with Dev.

"Kawawa naman siya kung ipagpapabukas pa natin." Dev said.

Tres smiled, "I'm sure, he understands us. I mean, siguro naman hindi siya magagalit, diba?" He chuckled.
