A week into his promotion, Tres is really getting stressed out, not only with the load of work he's getting but moreso, the time not spent with his family. It is really a big thing for him.

"Love, Kobe's birthday is in two weeks.." Dev said.

"Shit.." Tres whispered.

"Don't worry, we're working on it naman. Sinabi ko lang kasi baka you forgot na and hindi mo ma-clear yung sched mo." Dev said. "I mean, at least be there?"

"Ah, yeah. I'll clear my schedule for that. I won't miss his 1st birthday, of course." Tres said.

"Are you okay?" Dev asked. "You look so stressed.

"I'm fine. Medyo, madami lang din talagang ginawa sa office these past few days, but I'm good." Tres answered and smiled at her.

Dev stood up and sat beside him on his working area.

"Let's have coffee?" She said as she took the pen from his hand. "Need a dose of caffeine. C'mon, timpla kita."

Tres smiled at that and followed Dev in the kitchen of his condo.

"What do you want for dinner, Mr. Engineer?" Dev asked as she put Tres' coffee infront of him.

"Anything lang, love. You cook, I eat." Tres answered. "And wash the plates." He chuckled.

"Gusto mo, adobo or sinigang?" Dev asked.

"Ikaw." Tres said.

"I'm serious, love. Dali na, it's getting late, oh." Dev said.

"Ikaw na nga bahala. Kahit ano naman lutuin mo, okay lang sakin eh." Tres said while looking at his phone.

"Oh." Dev softly said. "Akala ko, ako gusto mo."

Tres heard that and he chuckled then looked at Dev.

"Gusto rin naman talaga kita but, it's not like, you'll let me have you for dinner, right?" Tres joked.

"Narinig mo pa yon?" Dev said and chuckled as well. "Adobo na lang. Bet?"

Tres smirked, "Yeah, sure." He answered.

Dev started cooking dinner for them while Tres is just watching her. He will occasionally sing different songs just so it won't be so boring in the unit.

"What do I need to do pala for Kobe's birthday?" He suddenly asked.

"You don't have to anything, love. Kami na bahala, just be there." Dev answered.

"Love, that's my son's special day. I want to do something for him. Please, let me help." Tres said.

"Okay, okay. Sunday, we'll go to the cake shop na ni-recommend ni Eli and Ynna, to see what we can get for him. You can drive for me and Ash." Dev said.

"Sunday, so tomorrow? Sure, I'll drive for you." Tres said.

"Ay, oo nga. Tomorrow na pala yon." Dev said. "Yun, pag-drive mo na lang kami."

"Can we invite people daw ba?" Tres asked.

"Yeah but, I'm not sure kung gaano kadami pwede eh." Dev answered. "I'll ask Iris na lang later."

"Mahal, I love you." Tres said, out of nowhere.

"I know, duh!" Dev jokingly answered.

"No, I really love you. Like, for real." Tres said while staring straight to Dev's eyes.

Dev felt a bit awkward and shy so he has to turn her back on him.

"Alam ko na yan, love. And I love you too, for real." Dev said.
