"Bakit mo nasabing naging bastos na ako?" Dev asked.

"Bakit?"

"Kasi, sinasagot na kita.."

Tres chuckled, "Baka kila tita mo yan dapat sinasabi? Hindi sakin." He said.

"H-ha?" Dev said.

"Kasi, sabi mo sinasagot mo--" Tres' eyes grew wide with the realization. "W-wait, y-you do?"

"No. Kila mommy ko na lang sasabihin." Dev said and stood up, pretending that she'll leave.

"Uy, joke lang! Wait, Dev!" Habol ni Tres sa kanya.

When he got a hold of Dev's hand, he pulled her closer to him and gave her a back hug. Dev smiled at that and turned to face him and hug him back.

"Uy, ano? Umayos ka nga." She said.

Nakayakap lang kasi sa kanya si Tres at nakadukdok ang ulo sa leeg niya.

"Huy. Umiiyak ka ba?" Natatawang sabi ni Dev. "Huy, umayos ka. Hindi kita pinapaiyak diyan, ha. Tres!"

Narinig niyang suminghot si Tres which means he's really crying. Natawa na lang siya as she guide him to sit on the chair in the veranda.

"Parang sira 'to! Bat ka umiiyak?" Dev asked.

Tres side hugged her before speaking, "T-thank you.." He said.

"For?"

"For saying yes to me. A-after everything that happened and all that I did to you, y-you're still here and you even want to be a b-bigger part of my life. Thank you." Tres said, still crying.

Dev chuckled, "Eh bat ka umiiyak?" She asked.

"M-masaya lang ako na hindi na ako s-single." Tres answered like a kid which made Dev laugh. "I'm happy na hindi na ako single because of you.."

"Awwe. Stop na nga, you're making me cry too eh." Dev said and hugged him.

Tres chuckled, "Arte mo!" He said.

"Sino kaya satin?" Natatawang sabi ni Dev.

Once they're both okay, they went back in to tell Tres' family the good news.

"Oh, you cried?" Tita Lou asked.

Kilalang-kilala niya na rin talaga si Tres at wala na rin 'tong maitatago sa kanya.

"What happened?" Lola Au asked.

"Kami na po.." Tres said and bit his lower lip, waiting for their reactions.

Tita Lou and Lola Au smiled and stood up to hug the two of them.

"I'm so happy for you, apo." Lola Au said. "Akala ko, hindi na madadagdagan ang mga Valdez eh." She joked.

"Lomy talaga." Tres said. "But, thank you."

"I guess, this calls for a celebration? This is something big." Tita Lou said with a chuckle.

"Uh, pwede next time na lang, tita? Kahit bukas. Gusto ko lang sana na pumunta kila Dev ngayon para sabihin sa parents niya." Tres said.

"We don't have to naman. Kahit ako na lang magsabi." Dev said.

"No, I should be there. I want to be there." Tres said.

"Well, if you say so. Basta, tell us when we can have our celebration for this, ha. Hindi natin pwedeng palampasin 'to." Tita Lou said.

"Uhm, tita, sinagot pa lang po ako. Hindi pa po kami ikakasal." Kamot-ulong sabi ni Tres.

"Hahaha, alam ko naman yon! Masaya lang talaga ako." Tita Lou said.
