I was now back at my office, happiness clearly radiating off of me.

I knew that Michael and Calum noticed the change and it was just a matter of time before they bombarded me with the question.

"A- Ash?" See? I told you!

"Yes?

"You okay? You seem... different," Michael asked hesitantly.

"I'm good, awesome even," I said, beaming happily at him.

"Okay, what did you do to the real Ashton Irwin?" He stood in front of me, hands on his hips.

"What do you mean? I'm the real Ashton,"

"You're just s-"

"He was on a date," Calum said, rudely (but not really) interrupted his fiancé.

"A WHAT?"

"A date. You're not that slow, babe, I know you're not,"

"THE Ashton Irwin? On a DATE?"

"What? I can't go on a date?"

"Alright, you devil spawn, gimme back my best mate, who the hell are you?"

"I'm Ashton, what the hell, Mike?" I giggled loudly at his shocked face, clearly not believing either me or Calum.

"It can't be you. I mean, just nights ago you were throwing tantrum about going out but now you're dating someone?"

"I wouldn't call it dating yet since we didn't make anything official. It's just a hang-out. And I wasn't throwing a tantrum, mind you!"

"Yeah, hang-out my ass. Like hell I would believe you," Michael snickered.

"For real though, who's this guy that made me postpone all of your meetings?" Calum asked as he took a seat beside his fiancé.

"His name's Luke. Hemmings. He's cool,"

"Was he your ONS?" Calum asked again.

"Kinda, but he's different you know,"

"Enlighten me then because clearly, it wasn't pleasant to cancel stuff last minute," Oh, he's mad at me.

"He's sweet. Nice and gentle as well, but still kinda rough?"

"Ew, mate, that's not what I mean." Calum scrunched his face up, causing Michael to giggle loudly.

"I mean it in general, not on the sex, you doof!" I scolded him while rolling my eyes.

"Okay, continue then,"

"Er... I don't know, he's just an overly a nice guy, I guess. He keeps making sure about my well-being, he offered to take care of me the next morning, and he even popped the question first."

"He asked you on this date?"

"He did, but I told him I need time and guess what?" Michael raised his eyebrows at me before speaking,

"He waited?"

"Yupp, for two whole weeks, can you believe that?"

"He's either actually nice or he's simply insane," Calum commented.

"Bit of both I guess. He could go all dominant and shit but when we're not in... Business, he's all dorky and lame. Just overall a cool guy, I believe," I said, smiling fondly at the idea of him. It was silence for a bit, but I didn't even realise it as I was too busy thinking about our date this weekend.
