I don't know what was happening, but Ashton was taking way too long for grabbing a glass of water and only a glass of water.

I looked around the room silently, eyes wondering everywhere until it lands on the same tiny person from before. I waved at him which made him shy away a bit before Keegan suddenly pop up behind him.

"Whatcha doin here? Who was at the door?"

He didn't change at all now, did he? Then again, it was only a month. The tiny thing pointed his finger to me and as Keegan's eyes fell on me, it widened in an instant before he ran up to me and just tackled the living shit outta me.

"Hey, champ,"

"You're here! You're ACTUALLY here!" He said in between a choked sob. I chuckled at the similarities then I closed my eyes at the familiar feeling, I rubbed his back soothingly, rocking him side by side carefully.

I suddenly felt someone poking my arms, big blue eyes staring back at me in pure wonder and confusion.

"Keegan's okay?"

"He's alright, just a bit overwhelmed." I smiled down at him which he nodded but kept the same suspicious slash curious gaze on me.

Keegan giggled at that, before pulling himself away to wipe off the tears frantically.

"Are you back for good?"

"Hopefully, I haven't had the talk yet with your dad, but if it goes well, he said this'll be my home as well,"

"Please do. I miss you. Dad too. He wasn't the same without you."

"Was he now?"

"He seems happier now, I passed him on the hall."

"Hall? I thought the kitchen was somewhere over there? I mean... the placement of this house seems familiar to the previous one,"

"Probably fixing his looks or something, I'll talk more with you later, Luke; he's here," Keegan said motioning to behind me as he nodded his head. I smiled at him before he grabbed the tiny person's hand and guided him out of the room.

I swear, I should stop calling him "the tiny person". That child must have a name AND a reason as to why he's here.

"So Keegan saw you,"

"Well... you did take a long time,"

"And you've met Kira twice I see," Oh, so tiny person's name is Kira. Sounds better, fit him too.

"I don't want to assume anything, but who's he?"

"My child,"

"YOUR child?" I asked, emphasising the first word.

"Yes, he... got a sister as well, his twin honestly and the just clicked so well with Keegan and Kira reminds me a lot of Keegan's younger self and oddly enough you as well and even though I was a bit hesitant at first, all doubt just vanished when I interact with them and see how affectionate the two were towards each other. I knew their background story and everything and Mrs Edwards did say that if it was anyone, I would be the perfect candidate to be their parents therefore I put that in thought but then when we got home, Keegan keeps going on and on about his day with the twin and I didn't even think twice before blurting out the question and two days later, they're officially mine. I was thinking about your possible opinion on this, knowing how much I w- no, I need you in my life and everything and also the possibility of this meeting we have now but people keep reassuring me that it was fine and that you'll be completely okay with this but I just can't help but still wonder. I'm truly sorry if you don't accept the two but I can't just let them go and-"
