Moving Along

"Welcome to Los Angeles and thank you for using our airlines. Enjoy your trips and stay safe," The pilot said as soon as we landed.

Keegan grinned happily at me, clearly more than overjoyed to finally get off of the plane after 4 hours and a half. It wasn't the longest flight we've had, he just got bored easily.

We double-checked everything first before standing up from our seats. I bid the flight attendance farewell, before walking off of the plane, Keegan holding my hand securely as he swung it back and forth.

"You excited?"

"Yas! I can't wait to see the new house. Is it a normal neighbourhood? A mansion type one? Or..."

"It's a normal one. I was thinking we get one in Beverly Hills but then I thought about your school and everything else, so I settle with the normal one since it's much closer and friendlier. You okay with that?"

"Dad, you know that I don't care about where we live as long as it's safe and feels like home,"

"Right..."

"Am I gonna start this week or next Monday?"

"I told the receptionist you'll be there next Monday. That way, you'll have time to rest and tidy up our house with me."

"Will Uncle Mikey and Cally be there too?"

"Maybe. I mean, they need to tidy up their house too, you know. Arriving a day earlier won't make that much differences, moreover when it was them," I said, giggling at the thought of those two.

"Ah, yeah, now I remember," We giggled along, getting some friendly smiles from the passerby.

Apparently, Michael, Calum, and I are the perfect team, which only means, if one were sent away, the other two would follow. While I was the CEO, Calum was the COO, and Michael was the CMO. People said we were the three musketeers because we just work that awesome when we were together, so since then, we're a package, kinda like a "buy 1 get two free" thingy honestly.

And because we were so close, they were like an uncle to Keegan. He loves them, they love him, and we're a big family.

"Hey, Kee?"

"Yeah?"

"Can you get us some coffees from sbux while I got to the toilet for a bit? Michael and Calum should be there waiting for us,"

"Will they be our new neighbour as well?"

"Sadly, no. They choose the Beverly Hills mansion so they could throw a party like the immature people they are."

"Oh, please. They're just a year and some months younger than you," Keegan sassed, flipping his imaginary long hair with a knowing smirk printed on his face. I nudged him playfully, causing him to giggle loudly.

"Anyway, the sbux is right over there, I'll see you there," I passed the trolley to him whom he happily accepts. I swear that kid is obsessed with the airport's trolley.

"Okay, see ya, dad!" I waved back at him before taking a left turn to the white corridor that gonna lead us to the toilet.

I silently thanked God when seeing the loo all empty before quickly doing my business and then washed my hand. I passed a man when I was about to head out. I mumbled a small apology as I unintentionally bumped his shoulder. He smiled at me before we parted ways.

I made my way to the famous coffee shop, instantly noticing Michael's bright red hair from metres away. I walked towards them, smiling when then noticed me.

"Yo!" Mike greeted.

"Hi,"

"You ready for the new chapter?"

"Sure, I think this will bring me some goods, so what's there to not be excited?"

"I checked the office with Calum yesterday, it was awesome! Our rooms are beside each other's, with yours at the end of the hall, looking towards the hall, mine on the right side of the hall, and Cal's on the left side of the hall. And to make matter even more amazing, the three rooms got connecting doors."

"Alright, you better gimme some warning then," I teased Mike.

"Eh, no promise, bro,"

"Where's Calum anyway?"

"In the queue, ordering Keegan's hot choco and probably your ice coffee as well," Michael informed and I nodded my head before changing the subject,

"How's the new mansion?"

"A bit smaller than the one we had in Vegas but it was fine. I kinda like it here and you know what? My neighbour is the famous Harry Styles!"

"Like, actual neighbours?"

"Definitely. He knocked on our door when we're setting up the living room and Calum almost pass out, it was so hilarious yet shocking, you should have seen it yourself,"

"I wish, but I guess that's great then. At least it wasn't an asshole or a stuck-up brat."

"Exactly,"

"Here's your drink. Hey, Ash,"

"Hey, Cal."

"Thank you, Uncle Cally," Keegan said.

"What were you guys on about?" Calum asked, taking a seat beside his fiancé.

"Just the new stuff, like that you almost pass out because of Harry Styles and Ash warning us about giving him some warning when we're in the office because of the connecting door,"

"Oh, no promise, Ash. You knew how Michael is,"

"Hey! It wasn't just me, you're just as much as a rabbit as I am,"

"What rabbit? Do you have a rabbit now?" Keegan asked and I internally facepalm for forgetting his existence.

"It's uh..." Michael trailed off nervously, clearly not used to this kind of awkward confrontation.

"No, honey. We don't have a rabbit," yeah, Cal, you don't. Because you're the rabbit.

"Then what's it?" Jesus, I wish I was that innocent again.

"I uh... your dad will tell you when you're older," gee, thanks, Mike.

"Yeah, let's just say when you're 14 or maybe 18, whatever," Calum agreed, nodding his head to reassure the curious boy.

"You guys suck,"

"That we do," Mike said before Calum nudged his stomach.

"Let's just leave now, shall we? I only got 3 days to settle in,"

"Alright, daddy"
