Lost in Japan

To say the conference was energy-draining would be an understatement.

I was forced to sit on that uncomfortable chair for three hours, answering and explaining more stuff than I was willing to the press and act all professional and shit. That was so exhausting. Not to mention some of the questions are just way outta the topic. Like for example, there's this guy that somehow, someway, found out about the accident in Keegan's school and he even had the balls to ask me to confirm it. Like, how the hell they even manage to find out? It's nowhere near my business stuff and it has nothing to do with my business progress as well, so why?

I loosened my tie as soon as the press was dismissed (or should I say kicked-out to be precisely because they refuse to leave), leaning myself back on the chair and take a breather. It was supposed to be about our business and strictly business only. I have no fucking idea how the hell things take turns to my personal life, moreover them having the audacity to ask it out loud and demand me an answer. Like, c'mon, is that even important?

I sighed out loud, feeling the stress slowly chewing my sanity. I felt my phone vibrated in my pocket while I was massaging my aching temple, the headache driving me insane already. I ignored it at first, thinking it was another email or other work's shits, but then it keeps vibrating again and again therefore I reluctantly pulled it out of my pocket.

Turned out it was Luke.
He bombarded me with tons of pictures of him and Keegan, doing so many activities and doing silly poses that instantly forming a smile on my face. They were just so fucking adorable.

See you in a bit

I pocketed my phone and got up from my seat before looking at my surrounding to find my driver. I spotted him by the entrance, so I jogged up to him.

"Afternoon, Mr Irwin,"

"Afternoon, Daniel. Can you drive me to the Shibuya station? My boyfriend and son are there and we were supposed to meet up for lunch"

"Of course, Sir. I'll go get the car, would you mind waiting for a bit?"

"No, no, no, it's fine. Go on, I'll be right here," I said smiling reassuringly at him. He smiled back politely before dashing off to where the car was parked.

Daniel has been my driver for ages now. He always comes with me during business stuff like this because I can't have my own car therefore I can't drive myself. He was supposed to come with Luke and Keegan honestly, but the two insist they wanna use the train and other public transport so Daniel stuck with me here.

Soon enough, the familiar black range rover pulled up in front of me and Daniel opened the door from the inside, letting me slip into the passenger seat.
