I was currently into my office, reading a bunch of emails along with signing tons of paper. Calum and Michael have been on my tail all morning, teasing and begging me for the detail about my night prior. I locked the door that connected our rooms, leaving the main one only.
It's not that I don't wanna tell them, I'm just afraid I might trigger something and bring back those nasty days' memories.
Okay, maybe not. Maybe I just don't wanna share the intimate moment I had with Luke.
Sure we weren't having sex last night, but the heart-to-heart conversation gave me a much deeper connection than when we had sex those nights ago. I've never felt so open in my whole life before that talk. I've never felt so loved and wanted and... Understood. Those three feelings I've long (since God knows when) finally achieved.
Frankly, I didn't think a man like Luke would exist. The man from my dream, the one that I always wished to come and save me. I truly am didn't think he would exist. Not like it's impossible because I know it's completely and utterly possible, but more like I didn't think I'm "good" enough to have the fortune of meeting him, moreover being his boyfriend and hopefully soulmates.
I heard the telephone on my desk rang so I quickly tap the speaker button, letting the caller's voice rang through my quiet office.
"Someone's here for you,"
"What? I don't think I have any more meeting?"
"It's not that, I'm letting them in,"
"Wait, Mi-" beep, beep, beep, beep~
Asshole!
I rolled my eyes and my best friend's behaviour, but not bothering to push it even more. I heard the door clicked before being pushed open, an extremely energetic Keegan running in with a beaming smile on his face.
Wait, is it 3 already?
"Daddy!!!"
"Hi, champ! What are you doing here?"
"Nothing. Just thought it might be good to give you a lil visit. What are these papers?"
"Stuff you don't need to worry about yet," I said, ruffling his messy hair while he giggled cutely.
"What are you supposed to do with them?"
"Read them, correct them if needed, and sign them if it was great. Who brought you here, Kee? Did Uncle Calum pick you up?"
"No, he didn't, M-"
"I did," A familiar voice cut in.
"Hey again, Mr Hemmings," Keegan said, quickly hopping off of my lap and leaching himself onto Luke's leg.
"Luke!" I screeched.
"Hey, love,"
"What are you doing here?" I asked, clearly taken back that they're here.
"We're giving you a visit, duh. What else?"
"I mean, why? And how's it Keegan with you?"
"We're from the same place. And unfortunately, you and Calum forgot to pick him up so I gave him a ride,"
"You could just call me or something,"
"And you could be in a meeting or something,"
"But I'm not in the meeting now, am I?"
"And how am suppose to know if you're in a meeting or not now?" why is he so fucking stubborn?
"Whatever. Kee, can you stop leaching on him? He might be uncomfy by it,"
