Luke's POV

It started as a normal day.
I woke up with Ashton in my arm, cuddling close to me while his head was buried in the crook of my neck. I carefully untangled myself from him, carding his hair softly when he started to stir and mumble some incoherent words. I went downstairs once he was back to sleep, preparing the necessities before starting to make breakfast.

Soon enough, a pair of arms wrapped around my waist, followed by a soft peck on my jaw,

"Good mornin'"

"Morning! how was your sleep?"

"It's good, I'm sore though,"

"I would say I'm sorry but we knew I'm not,"

"Kinda expect that. You're an asshole after all,"

"Heyyy," He giggled cutely and I can't help but smile as well.

"Good morning," Another sleepy voice rang through the kitchen.

"Hey, buddy," I said just as Ashton said, "Morning, baby."

"Hi... Luke, is breakfast ready yet?"

"In a bit, bud. Can you wait that long?" He hummed to me, crawling onto his daddy's lap and cuddling him. I chuckled at how similar the two basically were before quickly finishing my cooking and then serving it onto three plates.

"Here you go," They both smiled at me and ate the eggs still half-asleep.

The rest of the morning still fairly similar to my normal days, we ran around the house trying to get ready, shouting to each other about our magically-disappeared stuff and then running to the cars.

Ashton got an extremely early meeting today so Keegan will ride with me. I kissed him goodbye and then we went our separate way.

Keegan insisted on being dropped a block away which I strongly disagree but he begged me with those big blue eyes of him and I just can't resist. So, I dropped him a couple building away from the school, watching him cautiously looking around before slipping off of my car. I don't know what was up with him, but I know there's something that bothering the sweet guy. I'll have the talk later I guess.

I continued the drive to the school, definitely arriving much earlier than Keegan. I took my time at the parking lot, checking up the papers and other needed document before leaving the car when I saw that familiar mop of curls. I pretend to be on my phone and not seeing him, walking past the guy after greeting Mrs Holy at the register.

I walked to my class and again, it was rather similar to my usual days. Or at least it was normal until the fourth period. It was the right-before-lunch period which is also Keegan's class but much to my surprise, the sandy blonde dude was nowhere to be seen. It was so not like him to be late. In fact, he was usually the early one.

I started the class with this annoying feeling in the pit of my stomach but still tried my best to ignore it. Someone knocked on my class' door in the middle of me explaining some math stuff, causing me to pause and wait for it to be opened.

I recognise her from the third grade, looking shy and nervous as ever.

"Yes, Daisy?"

"I'm sorry to interrupt Mr Hemmings, but Principal Smith asked you to be in his office,"

"Right now?"

"Yes, Sir,"

"Alright then. Thanks, Dais," She smiled again before hurrying off.
