Turn 47 - Ice queen Vs Lady Luck

Within the next hour or so Lyra had met with Casey. The brief case she carried held a number of valuable cards that Casey, Yushuda and their friends would all need in the coming Fight.

"So you found Yushida just laying in the street?" Casey asked as she was looking through the new cards.

"Yes." Lyra replied and bowed to Casey. "He had his duel disk on...so my assumption if this is for real...was a duel."

Casey suddenly stopped and then slowly turned to look at Lyra before she took a few specific cards and shuffled them into her own deck. "Lyra...as you are here...would you be able to help me test my new cards?"

Lyra stood up straight and looked back at her and gave a slow nod. "If it is your wish...I do have the spare time and as a family member of mister Bruce...I will help you." Lyra took a duel dial from inside the briefcase and slotted it onto her left wrist. "I will warn you...my deck is not as conventional as you would expect."

"Not as...nevermind that." Casey swept her hair out of her face before picking up her own duel disk. "We will do this at the quad." Casey stated.

Lyra smirked as she began to leave the room. "I'll meet you on the roof miss casey."

Casey looked at her as she left and gave a small smirk of her own. "Yushida...I can't let you go off ahead alone."

"Are you okay now??" Hideo asked looking over at Yushida.

"Yeah...yeah I'm fine just a bit...tired." Yushida replied. He was sat on his bed.

Izuna looked over at Yushida with a serious expression. "So those guys...they are part of a group called Yugure...This does not bode well."

"No...it does not." Yushida sighed before looking back at Izuna. "But we dont know what they are after...so this could be far worse than what we already know."

On the roof of the academy Lyra was waiting for casey, her duel disk at the ready with her deck slotted into place. "Are you ready?"

Casey stepped onto the roof with her duel disk ready as well. She looked over at Lyra and gave a rather serious look at her. "I am..." Casey put her hand to the top of her deck. "But are you??"

Lyra smirked as she drew her cards, looking directly at Casey as she did. "Yes...now let's do Duel."

Both duelists looked at each other as they drew their opening hands. The wind blew gently through the area as they stared each other down and begin their match.

Turn 1(Lyra)

"I'll take the first move...I draw!" Lyra drew her card now holding 6 cards in hand. "I'll start off small. I summon Time wizard!" Lyra placed the card on her duel disk, before her appeared a small red circular object with a yellow and blue cloak face, it had golden gears for shoulders and legs with long red arms and enlarged hands an feet. It had a long blue Cape and held a large wand with a type of roulette on the top which had 2 castles and 4 skulls on it. (Time wizard - LV2/ATK500/DEF400) "and now I'll set these." Lyra set 4 cards face down. "And I end my turn."

Turn 2(Casey)

"I draw!" Casey drew her card now holding 6 cards in hand.

"I activate my trap card...gamble." Lyra flipped her trap card face up. "If I have 2 cards or less in my hand and you have 6 or more...I can toss a coin and call it...if I call it right I get to draw until I have 5 cards...and if wrong I skip my next turn."
