Turn 50 - Ghoulish Duel

Hideo was trapped within a barrier eerily similar to the ones that Yushida had been trapped in during his duels with Freya and wang...He was stood ready to duel against the foe before him...a duelist who seemed very much like a zombie.

Turn 1(Hideo)

"Guess I'll be the one to start!" Hideo drew his card, holding 6 in hand. "I'll summon Gamma the magnet warrior!" Hideo placed the card on his duel disk and his magnet warrior appeared before him. (Gamma the magnet warrior - LV4/ATK1500/DEF1800) "And I'll set a card face down." Hideo set a single card down in his spell and trap zone. "That's my turn done."

Turn 2(Duel Zombie)

The zombie remained silent upon drawing its card, holding 6 in hand. But it then also held up polymerization.

"Fusion summoning?" Hideo asked as he saw the zombie place the card on his duel disk.

"Duel." The being muttered as he sent zombie dragon and the snake hair from his hand to the graveyard. "Fusion...summon." a large golden mammoth skeleton appeared before the zombie. It let out a loud roar as it bared its teeth at Hideo. (Great mammoth of goldfine - LV6/ATK2200/DEF1800) "spell...card..." the zombie placed a card on its duel disk, a continuous spell known as heart of the underdog appeared.

"Heart of the underdog? So it's a normal monster based deck..." Hideo muttered to himself.

The zombie gave a slight smirk as he placed another card, the card being mystical space typhoon. "Destroy...set card..." a powerful gust of wind appeared on the field and then a bolt of lightning struck Hideos face down card.

"Shit...my negate attack." Hideo glared at the zombie who then held up its hand.

"Destroy..." the zombie muttered as his great mammoth charged Hideos magnet warrior, swinging its mighty tusks at him and destroying him.

"Aghhhh!!!" Hideo cried out in pain as he took the blow and lost some of his life points. (Hideo LP 4000 - 3300) "is this...what a shadow game feels like?"

The zombie set the last card in his hand. "End...turn."

Rebecca watched the duel from beyond the barrier. "Oh shit...is he okay??"

Casey's eyes narrowed as she kicked away one of the zombies and then looked towards the duel. "I dont know...but we had best move away before things get worse." Casey and Rebecca moved away from the area, looking back just before they left. "Hideo...we will be back...we just need to get these away from here!" Casey exclaimed.

Hideolooked towards the pair and nodded before he looked back towards the zombie. "Guess it's my turn."

Turn 3(Hideo)

"I draw!" Hideo drew his card, now holding 5 cards in hand. "I summon delta the magnet warrior!" Hideo placed the card on his duel disk and it then subsequently appeared on his field. (Delta the magnet warrior- LV4/ATK1600/DEF1400) "And on his summon I get to send a magnet warrior from my deck to the graveyard!" Hideo took his deck from his duel disk and searched through it. "I'll send my alpha the magnet warrior!" Hideo placed the card in his graveyard before putting his deck back in the deck slot. "Then I'll set another card facedown and end my turn." Hideo set another card facedown.

Turn 4(Duel Zombie)

"Draw..." The zombie drew his card now holding just this in hand. "Effect..." he revealed the card in hand was a normal monster called master kyonshee and with that heart of the underdog allowed him to draw another card. "Effect..." He revealed yet another card, armoured zombie which then let him draw another card. "Trap..." the zombie motioned towards his facedown card which flipped face up. The trap card known as meteor flare.
