Turn 32 - Glimps of Darkness

Yushida and hidekis duel had only just begun...and things were heating up significantly. While hideki has lost more than half his life points he had brought out his ace monster and his field was set up with his front line base and a pair of face down cards. Yushida while he had his own pair of face down cards his own monsters were not strong enough to defeat hidekis. So things were banking on his next draw.

Turn 5(yushida)

"I use the field spells effect!" Yushida proclaimed as he took monster reborn and waboku from his graveyard and shuffled them into my deck. "Since I have 1 or less cards in my hand I can shuffle 2 cards from my graveyard into the deck so I can draw 2 cards instead of 1!" Yushida drew 2 cards from his deck. "Alright hideki...It's time I got serious! I activate the spell card white elephants gift!" Yushida slammed the card on his duel disk. "This let's me tribute a non effect monster so I can draw 2 cards! I tribute curse of Dragon!" Curse of Dragon vanished and now yushida drew his 2 cards and now held 3 cards in hand.

"So you got rid of a monster just to get a few crappy cards?" Hideki laughed.

"No. I got rid of a monster so I could draw This! My polymerization spell card!" Yushida slammed the card on his duel disk. "Now I'll use red-eyes black Dragon and summoned skull to fusion summon my black skull Dragon!" Red-eyes black Dragon and summoned skull then began rise in the air before they were engulfed in a vortex of light. When the light cleared black skull Dragon was descending upon the field ready to attack. (Black skull Dragon - LV9/ATK3200/DEF2500)

"That monsters not strong enough to destroy my dragonoid." Hideki stated as he looked at yushidas monster.

"Not yet. But now I activate black pendant!" Yushida slammed the card on his duel disk. "This gives my Dragon 500 more attack points!" The pendant appeared on black skull Dragon, making the mighty dragon stronger than hidekis. (Black skull Dragon ATK 3200 - 3700) "now attack his Destroyed dragonoid! Molten fireball attack!" Black skull Dragon unleashed a volley of fireballs at the mighty destroyer dragonoid.

"I activate my trap rare metalmorph!" Hidekis own face down card flipped face up. "Now my monster gains not only a shiny new coat but he also gains an additional 500 attack points!" Destroyer dragonoid metal armour began to shine brightly as the new trap card equipped onto it. (Destroyer dragonoid ATK 3500 - 4000)

Yushidas eyes widened as the fireballs from his monster struck the metallic armour of destroyer dragonoid only to be reflected back and destroy his monster. (Yushida LP 2500 - 2200) "Black pendants effect activates! Since it left the field and is now in the graveyard you take 500 points of damage!"

A bolt of dark energy struck hideki from above, causing him to lose life points (Hideki LP 1900 - 1400) "all that did was buy you a few hundred points of damage! Your monster was destroyed and my own monster still stands!" Hideki exclaimed.

Yushida glared as he then took black skull Dragon out from the graveyard. "Using the field spells effect I can special summon a monster as long as I control no monsters and you control a monster." Black skull Dragon appeared once more before them. "I set this card and end my turn." Yushida set a final card and glared at hideki.

Hidekis pushed yushida back quite far. I wonder how yushida will be able to handle this?" Hideo muttered.

"He can do This!" Alicia snapped at hideo.
