It was now the following day. Yushida awoke to a bright morning sky, his duel disk and cards set neatly upon the table.

"Last night wasn't a dream..." Yushida muttered looking at the new cards in his deck. "But...these new cards how did that thing..."Yushida continued to talk to himself before he then put his deck in a box and his duel disk in a backpack. "All this shadow game stuff is weird..." Yushida slowly walked to his door before it opened showing hideo coming in.

"Finally awake? it's nearly 10 dude." Hideo said as he walked in. "We gotta have some practice man."

"Hideo I've just woken up..." Yushida muttered.

"Well you need to practice man...especially with those new people." Hideo stated.

Yushidas eyes narrowed before he nodded and followed after Hideo, both of them heading out to the quad to see that majority of the others were there too.

"Yushida??" Alicia ran over to him and gave him a tight hug, smiling happily to see him.

"Alicia?" Yushida asked and gave a slight hug back.

"Looks like you're okay." Robby walked over as well.

"Yeah...we were all worried." Rebecca also walked over.

"So uhh what's going on then?" Yushida asked.

Izuna looked towards Yushida. "We've encountered other duelists lately...the day after your duel." Izuna stated.

"We won't lie to you...they were good...myself Izuna and Hideo were all defeated." Robby added on. "So that is why we are here...to prepare for what could be a fierce battle."

Yushida looked at the group in surprise. "All of you dealt with new duelists too?"

Alicia nodded. "Yushida...I want to duel you...I've spent some time practicing since the tournament..." Alicia held up her duel disk.

"Before you duel." Casey was walking over to the group, she held a single card in her hand. "Alicia?"

Alicia looked over at Casey. "Hey umm what's up?"

Casey held out the card to her. "I want you to test this out for me...I had father and his staff create it for us...and had the aid of someone to get all the details right."

Yushida looked at Casey with a raised brow. "What is that?"

Alicia looked at the card with a raised brow as well before she put it in her deck and nodded. "Alright I'll do it!" Alicia smiled then looked at Yushida.

Yushida looked at Alicia confused and then put on his duel disk. "Alright then...let's duel!"

Rebecca looked at Casey. "What did you give her?"

Casey looked back at Rebecca. "Something that needs a test...and if it works then I know I'll make more."

"Hmm...well whatever it is I hope Alicia can make use of it." Rebecca replied.

both Yushida and Alicia looked at each other from across the grass, drawing their opening hands before both shouted in unison. "Duel!"

"I'll go first!" Yushida drew his card. Holding 6 cards in hand. "First I'll summon dark blade!" Yushida placed the card on his duel disk and it appeared before him. (Dark blade- LV4/ATK1800/DEF1500) "then I'll set these!" Yushida set 2 cards face down. "Your turn Alicia!"
