Turn 51 - Plan of action

Hideos duel against the duel zombie had ended with his victory and the duel zombie being consumed by the darkness of Yagure's evil. Now Yushida, Hideo, Alicia, Robby and Izuna had to search for Casey and Rebecca to see if they too were alright.

"They went off towards the town." Hideo explained as they all ran together.

"So if what you're saying is true...they could have dozens of those zombie things surrounding them by now..." Izuna spoke out as he ran. "That's not gonna be good..."

"Just one of those nearly beat you...several could be a problem for Casey and Rebecca." Robby added.

The group approached the town but another was watching their progress.

"Hmm...seems the little group of friends are still split up." Loretta giggled to herself. "Hmm but now I want to have a little look at that Casey girl...she seems to be a strong duelist amongst that group." Loretta vanished.

Not too far from the group were Casey and Rebecca, both were panting hard after having escaped crays duel zombies...but did they lose them...or were they called off?

"I...I think we lost them." Rebecca spoke out, panting hard as she did.

"I...hope so...but considering all the freaky shit lately...I don't think it would be that easy." Casey replied as she stood up straight and stopped panting. "I think we should see if Hideo is okay...he was actually dueling one of those...things."

"One of those things you say?" Loretta appeared from the shadows holding up her duel disk.

"You!!" Casey turned towards her as she held up her own duel disk.

"Who's that??" Rebecca asked casey looking at her with concern.

"Shes the one who defeated Hideo and Izuna...and I had a feeling you were one of those guys after Yushida." Casey glared at Loretta.

Loretta giggled as she looked at Casey. "Well you're quite the intuitive one....normally one could call you paranoid...claim you're simply jumping to conclusions...but you aren't wrong in this case."

"So you here to duel us?" Casey asked, continuing to glare at loretta.

"I would like to try my luck at dueling you." Loretta grinned as she held up her duel Disk but then she lowered it. "But now I think I may have to delay our battle."

Yushida and the others were quickly approaching.

"You!!!" Yushida shouted out as he continued to run.

"Tah tah for now." Loretta vanished into the shadows without a trace.

"Dammit!" Casey groaned in anger after Loretta vanished.

"Hey are you guys okay??" Alicia asked as she ran over to rebecca.

"Yeah we're fine but..." rebecca was about to finish as Casey spoke again.

"We almost had her too...dammit all!" She stood against the wall in frustration.

"Casey..." Rebecca quietly muttered.

"Yeah but what if she put you into one of those shadow games??" Hideo asked.

"I'm not some weakling! I can handle myself!" Casey snapped back at him.

"Hey! There was no need for that!" Izuna spoke out suddenly. "We cant just go charging in unprepared..."

Casey looked at Izuna before sighing and looking away. "I know that..."

"Its just frustrating." Robhy suddenly spoke up. "These new people come out of nowhere and start challenging us to duels...duels in which our lives are at stake...and we have lost for the most part." Robby looked away and continued. "So we are all basically running ourselves ragged and working ourselves to the bone to try and deal with these new enemies."
