Turn 23 - Machine battle part 2/mages and birds part 1

Izuna and Hideki continued their duel. Izuna was down to his final 300 life points but Hideki remained untouched...however he could turn this around now.

Turn 7 (Izuna/Continued)

Izuna drew his card, he held 2 cards in hand now. "First i'll play trap pause! this negates the effects of every face up trap card on the field and lets me draw 1 card for every card negated by this effect!" Fiendish chains then shattered and blue gadget was now free and then izuna drew a new card. "Perfect...but first i'll activate the effect of blue gadget! by tributting him I can special summon red, yellow and green gadgets from my hand, deck and graveyard!" Izuna took the 3 cards from his deck and placed each one on his field in defence mode. (Red gadget - LV4/ATK1300/DEF1500) (Yellow Gadget - LV4/ATK1200/DEF1200) (Green Gadget - LV4/ATK1400/DEF600) "now as I have summon these 3 monsters I can each each one to my hand!" Luna added a copy of red, green and yellow gadget from his deck to his hand, now he held 5 cards in hand. "Now I activate the continuous trap stronghold the moving fortress! This will let me summon a monster that is also a trap with the same name!" Stronghold appeared before Hideki, looking down at him with his fists raised. (Stronghold the moving fortress - LV4/ATK0/DEF2000)

Hidekis smirk turned to an annoyed glare. 'So you think that will stop me?' Hideki questioned.

'As i control all 3 of green, red and yellow gadget my stronghold the moving fortress gains 3000 attack!' (Stronghold the moving fortress ATK 0 - 3000) "next I equip the spell air cracking storm to my fortress!" A small jet pack like object attached to the back of the grand monster. "This let's one of my monsters attack twice but it stops my other monsters from attacking! Now my stronghold attack!" Stronghold lifted back it's massive fist and with a single mighty swing struck XZ tank cannon.

'Tch..." hideki growled as the attack hit his monster (Hideki LP 4000 - 2800)

"And again!" Stronghold once more brought up it's fists and brought both down this time destroying XZ tank cannon

"Ahhh!!" Hideki slid backwards from the blast of the attack. (Hideki LP 2800 - 1600)

"He took down hideki! All he needs to do is attack one more time and he wins!" Hideo cried out.

Rebecca grinned watching. "Alright! We can get rid of that big bully!"

Casey was watching silently. "Hmm..."

Izuna set a card. "I end my turn."

Turn 8(Hideki)

Hideki took the deck from out of the duel disk. "First as I have less cards in my hand I can send a machine from my deck to the graveyard to draw 2 cards...I'll send overdrive!" Hideki sent he card to the graveyard and drew his 2 cards. "Now I'll set this monster." Hideki set a monster facedown. "and I'll then activate my soul release! This lets me remove cards from either of our graveyards from play! Now I remove Y Dragon head from mine!" Hideki removed the card from his graveyard and put it into his pocket.

"What are you planning?" Izuna questioned.

"Your defeat." Hideki smirked. "I end my turn!"

Turn 9(izuna)

Izuna drew his card. He had 4 cards in hand now. "Stronghold the moving fortress attack his face down monster!" Stronghold raised its fist and struck the face down monster Hideki had set. The monster appeared from the card. It was a large machine turtle. It had a large N and S on it's chest that seemed to symbolize north and south. (Electro magnetic turtle - LV4/ATK0/DEF1800)

"My electro magnetic turtle being a machine isn't destroyed in battle once a turn thanks to the effect of this duel field." Hideki smirked.

"True...But now I have the effect of air cracking storm! Attack again!" Stronghold once more lifted its hands and with a mighty smash crushed electro magnetic turtle into nothing. "I end my turn"
