Turn seven - bonds and threats

It has been roughly a week since yushida and izuna's rematch, izuna's actions were not told to the headmaster of the academy despite how serious they actually were. Izuna was being a much nicer person to yushida and hideo even helping them with their decks and forming strategies with their decks.

"so these three monster cards can make this one?" Hideo looked at the four new cards he was holding. Those cards were alpha, beta and gamma the magnet warriors along with valkyrion the magna warrior.

Izuna nodded and looked at hideo. "Yeah, in a way they work like my red, yellow and green gadgets. When they go on my stronghold the moving fortress they allow stronghold to become a nearly unstoppable force at a massive 3000 attack points." Izuna smirked as he spoke feeling proud that his deck had a variety of different ways to bring out big monsters.

Yushida continued to look at his own deck, he had a variety of monsters but now he too needed to update his deck, he could not help but feel his own victories over izuna up until now were simply down to being lucky...after all this game was luck of the draw really but there was skill at play at times and yushida needed to increase his skill level.

"Why the serious look yushida?" Hideo asked him quite directly, leaning rather close and looking over his shoulder at the cards he held. "Say that red-eyes has always helped you out in a pinch...I think that it's like the very heart of your deck man."

Yushida shrugged looking at the card and then shuffled the deck a few times. "sorry just wondering whether that hideki guy is going to show up eventually."

Izuna looked at yushida, his calm and cool expression turning to one of dreed and panic. "I dunno what'll happen when he finally comes...but it won't be good for any of us I can promise you."

Hideo sighed and looked at both izuna and yushida. "You both need to chill out...I mean he's not going to appear right this minute so let's just try and relax for a minute."

the group all seemed to laugh until ryuoko walked in "Good evening boys. It is nearly 9 o clock so you'll have to go back to your room izuna."

Izuna stood up and then nodded. "yes miss kurohime."

Ryuoko looked at izuna and then patted his shoulder gently "I also have a message for you...from your parents." Ryuoko sounded less confident and friendly and a bit more serious and concerned.

"oh? What was it?" Izuna looked at her curious as to what this message was.

"it was your father...he wanted me to inform you about your sister..."

as soon as he heard mention of his sister izuna left the room and seemed to go back to his own dorm room, his expression had gone from curious to one of sadness and dreed.

The night passed quickly, izuna awoke in his dorm room and dragged himself towards his drawers, he took out an ordinary white shirt and a purple t shirt along with a pair of grey jeans. Izuna put on his outfit and brushed hair hair out of his face and left his dorm room, walking along the corridor until he exited the building, there was no one around right now from the look of things. Izuna soon left the academy grounds and was on his way to the hospital, going across the footbridge towards the main town. Izuna soon arrived at the market area of the main town and stopped seeing yushida and hideo ahead. "W-what are you two doing here??" Izuna spoke out to them somewhat surprised.

"we're your friends so we wanted to see if you were alright man." Hideo smiled and walked over to him. "we heard about your sister."

Izuna looked away and then looked at yushida and hideo. "That's nothing to do with you!" Izuna spoke to them, there was a sound of bitterness and anger in his voice.
