Turn Eight - A chance meeting

On the west end of Kumoto city stood another academy known as Komatsu academy. It too was a boarding academy similar to senya academy. The area it was in was rather clean and filled with tall beautifully decorated buildings as opposed to other areas of the city such as the market district. The School fences were tall and made of a finely polished metal around a small field on the north side of it, a Quad on the west side, a slightly larger field on the south side and then what seemed like the entrance to the school on the east side. The Building itself was like a mansion rather than a school and had five floors to it, it was a lighter grey colour and the windows were double plied and really modern, there was a large balcony on the east side of it overlooking the whole entrance. There were students going into the academy, the boys were wearing long sleeved red blazers with white shirts underneath and black pants while the girls on the other hand were all wearing a similar type of uniform but they also wore black and red chequered skirts that were knee length and black tights.

At the edge of the entry grounds was a girl, She Wore the typical girls uniform for Komatsu academy, she was fairly short around 5 foot 1 in height, she had dark brown almost black shoulder length hair, a pair of light green eyes and was slightly chubby and she had fair peach slightly freckled skin, she was carrying a dark red Handbag on her right shoulder which held her books and folders for her school work and inside was a small black box, within it were duel monster's cards. She walked towards the entrance of the building, she was fairly quiet with her steps, each step so gentle it was like she wasn't even touching the ground with how little sound was made. She slowly pushed the large double doors open and made her way inside.

The foyer of the academy was rather large seeming to be at least as high as two of the floors of the building, at the centre of the room was a large fountain. The girl walked along until she went to the centre of the foyer and sat down upon the edge of the fountain, her long hair resting upon her shoulders as she opened her handbag and opened her deck box slowly, she looked at the cards inside it and gave a soft sigh, she wasn't as into duel monsters as most of the other kids were but she enjoyed a game or two on occasion. She slowly put the deck back into its box and the deck box back into her bag. "I wonder if Robert will want to have a duel later...he's been pretty hyped about entering the tournament lately." She muttered to herself, her voice was soft and quiet, it was gentle too and could probably lull someone to sleep. The girl was about to leave as another girl walked over to her.

"Hey there Alicia." The girl smiled and gently waved to her as she walked over, she too wore the komatsu girls uniform but she had her sleeves rolled up to just above her elbows and her blazer was undone. She was quite slender and around an average height of 5'6, She had tanned skin and neck length brunette hair and a pair of dark brown eyes and on her back she had a large black rucksack that was filled with all her books, folders and other school supplies.

"h-hey Rebecca." Alicia nodded giving a nervous smile to her as she slowly stood up.

Rebecca simply laughed and then seemed to hop up and down in front of her a little. "I told you to call me becky hun!" She gently patted her head being careful not to mess her hair. "Why you so nervous? It's only lil old me! We've been friends for years!"

"yeah you're right..." Alicia smiled and walked alongside Rebecca, both walking past the fountain and towards the west side of the room, proceeding through the doorway and into a long corridor.

"It's a little while until curfew so how about we go and find Robert and we go to town? He should be in the quad" Rebecca tugged on Alicia's arm gently and started to pull her along.

Alicia laughed nervously and allowed Rebecca to drag her along. "Becky are you going to the tournament in a months' time?"

Rebacca nodded and looked at Alicia. "Uh huh...I'm looking forward to it." She smirked and then started to lightly giggle. "Are you going to enter too?"
