Turn 26 - Hideki's threats part 1

It was now the day of the semi finals. The quarter finals were already pretty intense so how could they be topped? Yushida was in his dorm room preparing for the events that would transpire today. He would be duelling with Casey again and while yes he had improved...did he improve enough to defeat her? Alicia too would be duelling against Hideki and this too caused worry for yushida as Hideki would use this as an advantage to bring harm to yushidas friends.

"Alright...time to go." Yushida sorted his bag out, putting his duel disk and deck box in there. He was now ready to face the day ahead. Leaving his dorm room he was walking down the corridor to the other side towards the stairs so he could leave the building. Every step he took caused a small echo through the corridor.

"Finally awake huh?" Hideo was stood at the end of the corridor with izuna beside him.

"Your rematch with Casey is today..." izuna stated. "Regardless of who wins one of you is bound to face Hideki."

"What makes you think That? Alicia could win." Yushida replied.

"We forgot to mention...there's a consolation match to determine 3rd place...so regardless of who wins in what round someone's going to face Hideki next round." Hideo stated.

Yushida simply nodded before he walked with the pair.

It wasn't long before they all arrived in the main town, walking at their pace. The town was already busy with people heading there to watch the duels take place.

"Hopefully we can get there early an meet up with the others." Hideo looked at yushida and izuna as he spoke.

"We'll be there early...we've left way before it starts." Izuna replied.

Yushida took a moment to look at his deck box. "I think my decks ready. Regardless of who I face I need to be prepared." Yushida stated.

"Personally I think that you should be fine." Izuna stated. "You have a good balance of cards...you can easily bring out your red-eyes with either red-eyes black chick or paladin of dark Dragon...and your other cards like summoned skull and dark blade are strong attackers that most average opponents can't deal with...and your fusion monsters are generally hard to deal with." Izuna continued.

"Plus you have some decent strategies and some strong spell and trap cards...you should do fine today." Hideo added on.

"We'll...I hope you two are right." Yushida was looking ahead as he spoke. "How do you think Alicia will do against Hideki?"

"Honestly...Im worried about her." Hideo looked down as he spoke. "She's a good duellist...but Hideki is a bully and a cheater...he'll be tough."

"Hey guys!" Rebecca and Robby were ahead of the group but Alicia was not with them.

"Hey uhh...where's Alicia?" Yushida asked.

"She left early I think." Rebecca replied. "She seemed to be in a bad mood."

"Wonder why..." hideo muttered.

"I dunno...but all we can do is head to the duel dome." Robert answered while he started to walk.

It didn't take long for the group to get to the dome. There were huge crowds all around the dome. All the people in the crowd were there anticipating some exciting duels today and they were going to be in luck.

"Wow...so many turned up." Robby muttered.

"I doubt it's for us." Yushida stated. "Its probably since Pegasus is hosting."

"Don't be so sure...the duels yesterday really entertained them. You all really gave them a show." Ryuoko stated as she walked over.

"Teach?" Yushida looked at ryuoko.
