Angelyn Campit's POV

Break his heart. That’s the whole life operation of yours truly-Angelyn Campit, or my twenty years of existence platform at least. I top at making boys cry.

Sinaktan niya ang isa sa bestfriends ko, kaya dapat lang na turuan ko siya ng leksyon.

Katatapos lang ng laro ng Greyhounds noon at katatapos din lang naming magpapicture sa kanya-kanya naming crush sa team at naglalakad na kami sa labas ng Sports Palace nang biglang napansin kong hindi na namin kasabay si Armie.

Paglingon ko, nakita ko siyang nakatalikod, naglalakad papunta muli sa Sports Palace. Hmm. Bakit kaya?

Curious as I am, sinundan ko siya only to find out the most shocking thing-her relationship with Harold Bautista, a member of the basketball team. Unfortunately, I discovered it at its end, because on that fateful day…

“What is it Armie? Tell me.” The guy cupped my friends chin and stared at her lovingly. Suddenly, pinalis ni Armie ang kamay ng lalake.

“Huwag mo kong hawakan,” mahinang sabi ng kaibigan ko. “I’ve had enough of this secret relationship, Harold. The way you smile at those girls and giving them your number like you’re not committed to anyone. I can’t even tell how many girls you are dating aside from me!” My friend sobbed.

“Hey, you know it’s not like that. You are the one I love and I’m not dating anyone else. And you know that the reason why I don’t make our relationship public is for you to be safe from the wrath of my fangirls.”

“Save me from fangirls? Or keep them from knowing that you have a girlfriend? I can’t take it anymore, Harold!” My friend trembled in frustration.

“So what? You want us to break up?”

Hindi ko narinig ang mahinang sagot ni Armie pero what I heard after that is Harold’s most rude decision. “Fine!” Is he dumb? When agirl complaigns, she just wants to test the guy and his love for her. Whether he would give in or not to the temptation of breaking up is up to him.

Agad akong nagtago sa sulok nang makitang patakbong umalis si Armie. Harold went out as well, but he didn’t chase her. He just watched her running away. Then he went away as well.

“Tse! Harold Bautista! You suck! Rot in hell!” bulong ko sa sarili ko habang naglalakad papunta sa gym. Ilang buwan na rin mula noong nangyari iyon. Bakit bigla ko iyong naalala?

“Hey man, diba iyon iyong gf mo!”

Oops! Nagtago agad ako sa kanto. Hindi ako pwedeng magkamali. Si Gene Francis Ragodon aka fafa Gene ni Niche ang nagsalita at kausap niya si Harold Bautista. Ang bilis naman yatang magpalit ng gf nitong kumag na ito.

“Ui, diba ikaw iyong kaibigan ni Armie?” tanong ng isang lalake na papunta rin sa gym-si Zyren. He caught the attention of the other two kaya lumapit din sila. “Woah pare! O sino iyan?”

“Quiet, may pinag-uusapan kami,” sabi ni Zy.

Tsh! Kapag minamalas nga naman. “A oo, bakit?”

“Kanina mo pa kasi iniistalk si Harold, may gusto ka bas a kanya?” Tae. Saan galing iyon?

“A-a-ako? Gusto ko y-y-yang..?” A oo nga pala, gusto kong parusahan ang taong ito dahil sa ginawa niya sa kaibigan ko. It won’t hurt to lie, right? “A..ano..oo..” pagpapachix este hinhin kong approach.
