Jaemin's POV

"Jeno." I start. "Yeah what's up?" He asks me. "I think I like someone but I'm not sure about their feelings, what do I do?" I ask him. "Just ask that person out and if they don't like you back then they're just stupid." He tells me. "But who do you like?" He asks. "Uh well you see... I like y/n. I know she's our best friend but I can't control my feelings." I explain. A simple oh left his lips. "Oh? Are you mad?"

"No I'm not mad. It's just... mhm never mind. I'm going out." He turns around and walks out of our apartment. "Jeno where are you going?" I ask. "Gym." He answers. "In jeans?" He looks down and sighs. "I'm getting changed first." He walks in his room and slams the door. Why is he like this all of a sudden? "Jeno, if something's wrong you'd tell me right?" I knock on his door. "Jeno answer me please." I knock again. Suddenly his door swung open. "I'm going to the gym, see you later." I stopped him. "First tell me what's wrong."

"I like y/n too. But don't worry, she most likely likes you." He tells me and left the apartment. Did I upset my best friend? I sigh and sit on the couch. I can't confess to y/n, not anymore. I take my phone and call her. "I think I upset Jeno." I say as she picked up the phone. "What did you do?" She asks me. "I told him I like someone and apparently he likes the same person." I tell her. "Ow, well can I know who?" She asks. "Well, you really wanna know? It's you."

Jeno's POV

I get back home. I was exhausted and sweaty. I just want to take a shower and sleep. I open the door to Jaemin and mine's apartment. I walk in and see Jaemin sitting with y/n. Did he really confess to her? Well that's what I told him to do anyway. "I'm gonna shower and sleep, don't mind cooking for me." I tell them as I walk to the bathroom. "Wait Jeno. Please sit down." Y/n said. "Why?" I turn around with a groan. "Because Jaemin told me what's going on." My eyes widened.

"You told her?" I ask Jaemin. "I had to." I roll my eyes. "You know it's fine, date him I'll just move on." I say before getting into the bathroom but being stopped once again. "Wait. Just come sit down." She takes my hand and pulls me onto the couch. "I like both of you." She tells me. "Then choose for Jaemin, he really really likes you. I'll move on." I say and get up. Y/n pushed me back onto the couch. "I don't want to choose. I can't choose between my 2 best friends." She says. "But you have to."

"She doesn't." Jaemin says. "Oh I see. None of us gets to date the other. Smart." They roll their eyes and sigh. "What?" I look confused at them. "Ever heard of a polyamory relationship?" Y/n asks. "So you want the 3 of us... I don't know. Is that a good idea?" I furrow. "Look, just think about it first. We'll give you some time. And if you know what you want just let us know." Jaemin tells me. "Okay. Can I now take a shower?" I ask and they nod in response.

Y/N's POV

"I hope he says yes." Jaemin says. "I hope so too but we can't force him." I tell Jaemin. "That's true. But what if he says no? What happens then?" He asks me with a little frown. "Then I guess none of us will be dating each other. I don't want to make a choice and break one of you guys' heart." I tell him honestly. "I understand that. But know that I love you okay." He holds my hands. I give him a hug. "I love you too but so do I love Jeno." I whisper. "I know and that's okay."

Suddenly the door of the bathroom opens. Jeno walking out in another pair of sweats and a shirt. "I don't know my decision yet, I'll make sure to tell you tomorrow." He tells us. "Jeno that's completely fine, take as much time as you need." I tell him. He nods and gives a faint smile. "Goodnight." He says before walking into his room. "I'm kinda afraid for his answer." Jaemin says. "Me too but we will see. Can I stay tonight? I'll just sleep on the couch." I ask. "Sure. Let me get extra pillows and a blanket. Here order anything you wanna eat."

I was just asleep when I suddenly hear footsteps and the lights in the kitchen turning on. I open my eyes and get up. I carefully and quietly tiptoe to the kitchen. I was holding my slippers, ready to attack any intruder. I walk into the kitchen and see Jeno. "Yah omg I thought you were a robber." I exhale. "I'm sorry. Did I wake you?" He sips his water. "It's fine. Why are you up?" I ask. "I couldn't sleep, I keep thinking on what if I say yes and what if I say no." He tells me.

"I'm sorry I asked you that question. I didn't thought you'd be sleepless because of it. Now I feel guilty." I pout. Jeno puts down his glass and takes me in a hug. "Don't feel guilty. I'm the one who can't answer so quickly. You 2 are waiting for me, everything depends on my answer." He sighs. "What if one of us falls out of love? Will the other 2 continue?" He asks me. "I don't know, maybe. Guess those 2 will have to talk about it." I answer him. "And if I say no, I'll disappoint you 2. I'll feel so bad for that."

I hug him a little while longer, Jeno could use it. "Hey no matter what your answer is. It won't tear us apart, we're a team of 3." I tell him. "Exactly a team of 3." He repeats. "I think I know my answer." He tells me. "Really? What is it?" I ask. "I want Jaemin and you to hear at the same time." He says holding onto my hands. "You can say it." Jaemin appears. We stand next to each other waiting for Jeno to say something.

Scenario 1:
"I say yes, I wanna do this. Like y/n said, we're one team of 3. So we're doing this together." He smiles. I jump up in happiness. "Groups hug?" Jaemin asks. The 3 of us hug it out. "I'm so happy with you 2, I must be the luckiest person ever!" I giggle. "I love you... both of you." Jeno shows his eye smile. "It's late we should get back to bed." Jaemin says. "Wait together?" I ask. "You wanna sleep in 1 bed with us?" I nod. "Okay you sleep in the middle." Jeno chuckles, knowing good enough that I rather sleep on a side.

Scenario 2:
"I don't want to but I do want you 2 to start dating. Don't worry about me. You're still my 2 best friends but I can't start a relationship with both of you, I'm sorry." He apologises. "So me and y/n can date and you'll be fine with it?" Jaemin questions and Jeno nods. "But that wasn't the deal. It's all together or none of us." I say. "Y/n listen to me. You and Jaemin should date and be happy together, I'll be fine. I really want you 2 to date okay." I nod slowly. We hug once again. "I'm sorry." Jaemin tells Jeno. "Don't be, just see that both of you will never stop smiling." We nod in response. "Thank you Jeno." Me and Jaemin smile.
