Y/N POV

I walk fast, I'm late on my first day how can I do that? I hope they won't fire me. I rush into the building. "Good morning what can I help you with?" The receptionist says not looking up yet. "I'm the new employee here, can you tell me where I have to go to?" He looks up and that's when I recognised him. I decided not to say anything about it. "Um well, just take the stairs first floor, left door at the end of the hallway." He explains. "Thank you." I bowed.

"I'll show you where you'll work. It's at the reception, your coworker is a very nice guy he can help you and explain to you what you'll have to do." My boss tells me. "Shotaro this is y/n, she's your new coworker. Please explain some things and help her through." He nods in response. Once our boss left me and Shotaro stood there in silence. "Where can I sit?" I ask breaking the silence. "Oh um take that chair, today you're with me but tomorrow there'll be someone else." He explains. "Okay." I softly smile.

"So what we do is ask the entrance tickets of the people, check it, give them this wrist band a folder with some information and show them the entrance." He explains. "Sometimes there will be calls for reservations or certain things, but most of it happens online. We also get people with questions like where's the restroom or where can I find the exhibition about... and such. Here's a floor plan by the way." I simply nod as he continues with everything. "Here in the back office you can place your bag and jacket, if you need papers or restocking for the folders or wristbands it's all in here."

"Okay thank you." I smile. "Since it's early in the week there won't be much people, most of the time there will be more people on Wednesday, Friday and weekends. I don't know when you have work and when not?" I look up my schedules. "I don't work on Thursday afternoon, Wednesday morning and never on Tuesdays." I tell him. "Then we'll be most of the time working together." He giggles, still that same giggle that I fell in love with. Oh no y/n don't think about it, forget about him right now!

It was already Friday. I still haven't brought up the old days with me and Shotaro. But we were getting along and working great together. "Hey could we maybe grab a coffee together and have lunch?" He asks me. "Isn't there supposed to be always someone here?" I asked. "No no w/n (woman's name) will be here. So will you come with me? We could catch up on all these years." My eyes widened. "Y-you remember?" I asked in shock. "Of course I remember you. We went to high school together." He smiles. "I'll come with you." I tell him.

"Great." Oh lord that smile! Ugh y/n keep it together he's your colleague now. "At what time?" I asked him. "Let's take our lunch break in half an hour, then it'll be almost noon." I nod in response. This half hour passed quickly. "Are you ready?" He asks me. "Yup let's go." I take my bag and follow him to a nearby cafe where we order coffees and have our lunch. "I really didn't expect to see you again, but I'm happy we did." He smiles. "You are? I mean me too but it's not that we talked much in high school."

"I know and I actually feel guilty about it. That's why I wanted to have lunch with you." He tells me. "Guilty?" I raised my brows. "Y-Yeah... I, to be honest in high school I had a crush on you but I never dared to have longer conversations or get close with you." He tells me. "I was scared for rejection, you were the prettiest girl and so popular and then you had me." He awkwardly chuckles. "What do you mean? Shotaro you were so cute and gorgeous yourself at that time. I also had a crush on you."

We both giggle. "You're joking right?" He asks. "No not at all." I shook my head. "Omg I really should've talked with you back then." He says. "Why do you care so much about then? It's as if you still have a crush on me." His smile fades and he looks away. "I'm really a loser I know." He nervously bites his lips. "No I'm not letting you say that about yourself, you are everything but a loser. I was actually joking because I thought I'm the only one who didn't move on from the both of us."

"So you also haven't moved on?" He asks. "No." I chuckle. "I guess we both still like each other." A silence followed. It was a bit awkward, neither of us knowing what to say or do next. "Excuse me, can I ask you something?" Someone taps my shoulder. "Yeah what is it?" I ask frowning at the stranger. "Well I thought you were really pretty and uhh can I have your number?" He asks me. "No you cannot." I look in surprise at Shotaro. "I was asking her not you." The guy says. "But you're not getting her number, she's mine."

"Is that true?" The guy looks at me. "Yes, he's my boyfriend." I smile as I look at Shotaro. "Leave now. You're interrupting our date." Shotaro frowns at him. Once the guy left we look at each other with big smiles. "So I'm your boyfriend now?" He asks. "And I'm yours I assume." He takes my hand in his. "Only if you wanna be mine." I nod in response. "Of course I want to." I smile happily. "Now we can enjoy our lunch before our lunch break is over." He says. But right at that moment his phone rings. "Never mind lunch is over."
