—Y/N POV
I was in my art room making a new work. Or at least I would be if I had any inspiration. I get some paint on my brush and sweep it over the canvas. One straight black line. I don't know what to do with it. "Hey." Doyoung sneaked up behind me and hugs me. "What's that supposed to be?" He asks pointing at the line. "Art?" I say questionable. "No inspiration again?" He asks. "No." I sigh. "Then why don't take a break and go out with me?" He asks.
"A date?" He shrugs. "Whatever you like to call it." He smiles kissing my shoulder. "I'll get ready." I get up. "Don't hurry, I wanna take you on a picknick but I still have to get the food all ready." He tells me. "A picknick? That's so romantic." I couldn't hide my happiness. "I know you'd like that." He pulls me closer for a kiss before he goes to the kitchen and I to our bedroom. I open the closet and look at what I could wear. I take out a white dress with small flowers on it. I go to the bathroom and change after I got cleaned up.
I walk out of the bathroom, all ready and set. "Woah you look amazing. Is that the new dress?" I nod and twirl around showing off the dress. "It looks so good on you." He hugs me. "What are you so affectionate today. Is something going on? Did I forget about something, birthday, anniversary?" I ask. "No. I just thought I could show you more love and affection. I know I haven't been the best boyfriend lately and I'm sorry about that." He apologises. "I already forgave you, you know that."
"Yes but I just wanted to say it again. And I love you." He holds my face in his hands and kisses me. "I love you too." I tell him. "Now let's go." He takes my hand and a basket filled with food. "Where are you taking me?" I ask. "A place I'm pretty sure you'll love. It's quite a long drive but I'm sure it's worth it." He tells me. "Oh I can't wait." Doyoung takes me to his car and he starts driving us to some place. I'm very curious and excited about it.

After a long drive we arrived. "This looks as if it came right out of a fairytale." I gasp. "I knew you'd like it." He grins. I take his hand and pull him with me. It was a big field with here and there a tree and lots of flowers, there weren't any people near. "How did you find this place?" I ask. "Actually my dad used to take my mom here when they were younger. At one of the trees there should be a swing and their initials engraved." I saw a sparkle in his eyes when he told me.
"You want to find the place?" I ask. "Yes that would be great." He smiles. We walk around until we found the tree with the swing. "Here it is." He squeezed my hand lightly out of joy. He takes a blanket out and put it down on the grass. I look at the swing and carefully sit down hoping it's still in good quality to be used. "Everything is... set for the picknick." He mumbles the last part. "What's wrong?" I ask confused. "Nothing really... except, now I know how my dad must've felt when he took mom here." He smiles.
"And how did he feel?" I ask. "In love, just like I feel now." He walks closer taking my hand. "Let's have our picknick." I get off of the swing and sit down on the blanket with Doyoung. "All this food, bebe isn't it too much?" I asked. "Nothing is too much for you." He tells me. "You are way too sweet." I rest my head against his shoulder. "Here eat something." He feeds me some fruit covered in chocolate. "You like that?" I hum in response. We ate some more and talked a lot.
"You know, if I had my canvas and paint I would paint this. The field, the tree with the swing, us." I smile. "I don't have that here but I knew you'd like to draw or paint so I got your sketchbook with colour pencils." He takes it out of the basket. "You are the best! Thank you." I hug him. "Make something beautiful of it alright." He laughs. "Of course." I joked with him. I started drawing. Doyoung looks over my shoulder. "I can't concentrate like this." I tell him. "Sorry." He goes away but not much later he was back, resting his head on my shoulder.
"Bebe." I sigh. "Sorry. I just, I want to hold you in my arms and not let go. You're my everything." He whispers in my ear. "You really are something else." I playfully roll my eyes. "I just love you and I want you to know that." He tells me. "But I do know. And I love you too." I tell him. I put away my sketchbook and sit up. "I love you so so much Kim Doyoung." I kiss him. "Then marry me." My eyes widened, did he really ask me. "What did you say?" I questioned.
"I'm not asking you again y/n, I know you heard me." He looks me deep in the eyes. "Is that why you brought me here?" I ask. "Maybe. So what's your answer?" He waits impatiently for my answer. "Yes of course I'll marry you!" I hug him. "Here." He grabs in the basket and takes out a red box. "No way." I gasp. He opens it and reveals a ring. "My mother said I should give it to the girl I wanna marry." He puts the ring on my finger. "It was her engagement ring." I smile. "It's beautiful, I can't imagine a better ring."
