Kun's POV

"Granddad!" I look at where the voice comes from. "Mei, you're here!" I smile seeing my precious granddaughter. "Come sit here with me." I make some space for her to sit down. "Mommy told me stories from when she was younger. Do you have stories too?" She asks me. "From your mom?" She shook her head. "No from when you were young. That must be sooo long ago right." She giggles. "Maybe I'm a little old but it wasn't that long ago." I tell her. "So what did you do when you were young?" She asks me.

"Well I wasn't like other kids. On a young age I traveled to Korea." I start. "Why? Didn't you like living here?" She asks. "I did but I was training to be an idol. I was a singer in a big group." I tell her, smiling at the memories I had. "NCT, we were with many many people. I was part of WayV and NCT U." I tell her. "Ooh, I didn't know that." She smiles. "And how did you meet grandma?" She asks me. "That was in 2021, amazing year for all of us." I tell her.

2021

"Hi I'm Kun." I smile as I bowed politely. "Hi, I'm y/n." She introduced. "I'm happy we can collaborate together." She smiles. "Me too. Please take a seat." I tell her. Y/n sits in the chair next to mine. "I already worked a bit on some music. But tell me if you like it or not, I can still make changes." I tell her before playing the music. Her eyes lit up and she starts smiling. "You like it?" I ask her. "It's amazing!" She said. "I also made some lyrics, we can see how we gonna do it on the music."

She gave me the paper with her lyrics. "That looks good. I'm sure we can make it work." I say. We make some changes here and there. "Oh it's suddenly 11pm." I chuckle as I watch the clock. "Oh really? Maybe we should take a break, I can get us some coffee." Y/n says as she gets up. I turn in my chair. "You want me to come with you?" I ask. "Sure." She smiles sweetly. I get up and follow her to the building's cafeteria. "So..." I start. "I really like your music."

"What? Oh thanks." I say. "I'm sorry that was rude of me." She said, hiding her face. "But it's true I like WayV and NCT and oh god, I'm embarrassing myself." I chuckle. "Thanks, I like your songs as well. And your voice is so nice and calming to listen to." I tell her. "Thank you." She blushes. We got our coffees and walked back. "I'm glad I agreed to this collab. You're really nice and talented." I tell her. "You think so?" I nod in response. "I really think so." I say again. "I'm also happy to work together. I can't wait to record everything and the MV shoot."

It's the day where we're going to record everything. I was first to arrive but I knew y/n still had schedules until 5. "Kun, great that you're here. Is it okay we're going to start right away?" I nod. "Okay then get inside and we can start." We recorded my different parts multiple times until it was perfect. I was doing my last verse as I see y/n walk in. I finished and walk back to where everyone was seated. "Hey y/n." I smile. "Hi Kun. That sounded amazing." She tells me. "Thanks."

"Kun you can go home if you want. You're pretty much done." The producer told me. "No, I wanna stay. I want to see how y/n does it." I tell him. "At least if that's alright with you." I look at her, she nods in response. "Okay. Y/n can you take place?" She nods and gets in. I watch and listen to her singing our song. That was amazing! "Oh no, can we try that again?" She asks. "Why, that was good." The producer said. "Really? I thought I didn't do it well." She said. "We can try again if you really want to."

It's really early and we're at the set of the MV. "Are you ready?" Y/n asks me. "Yes, it's really exciting!" I tell her. "Yes it really is." She claps her hands. "Y/n, Kun get ready on set." It wasn't a difficult setup, we sat down at the piano and act a bit in love. Later today we also have a few scenes outdoor. The music starts and I start playing on the piano as I sing my verse. I steal some glances from y/n here and there.

We did this a few times until everyone was happy with the results. "It really looks like you 2 are in love." My Manager said. "Really?" I ask surprised. "Yes, look at that. As if you're really dating." I shyly smile, maybe I do have a little crush on her which made it not so difficult to act all of this. "Go get ready for the outdoor scenes." Me and y/n go get changed in our other outfits. Our hair and makeup got done again. "You look really good." She compliments me. "So do you. I mean it." She blushes again. Ah she's too cute!

"So we have to walk when holding hands?" Our managers nod in response. I got suddenly nervous, why? I look at y/n, she also seems to be nervous. "Is it okay for me to hold your hand?" She looks up at me and slowly nods. She placed her hand in mine. Our fingers interlocked as we start walking. "Just talk, doesn't matter about what, just make it look like you're in love." The producer tells us. "Can I ask you something?" I start. "Yes, what's up?" She says. "Would you like to go out sometime, with me. As a real date?"

"Are you for real?" I nod in response. "I'd love to go out with you. Wait it's not to act for the MV right?" She asks. "No, I'm serious." I say. "Then I'd love to go out with you Kun." She smiles and so did I. We spontaneously start hugging. "Okay cut, that was great! Thank you guys, that was our last take!" The producer tells us. Me and y/n didn't let go of our hands. I really like her and I hope this can turn into something great.

"And that's the story of me and your grandmother." I smile at Mei. "Dad are you telling her the story of you and mom?" I nod. "Mommy why did you never tell me pops and nana are singers?" Mei runs to her mom. "I'm sorry but I didn't know you were interested in that." She tells her. "Can you sing too?" Mei asks. "Of course your mom can sing, every child and grandchild of mine is able to sing." I say as I get up. "Can you sing the one song of you and nana?" I nod and sit at the piano as I start playing our song.

A/N: this was longer than expected haha and Kun is like something in the 60 years in this story, oops but he'd be a great father and grandfather
