Y/N's POV

I walk into class with my best friend. We were just minding our own business but it felt like there were eyes staring at me. I look around but no one seemed to be looking at me, not that I want to. "Girl can you please sit down, class will start in a minute." The teacher walks in behind us. We sit next to each other at a table in the middle. We were chatting until the bell rings.

"Okay class, today you'll get paired in groups of 2 for an upcoming presentation. You'll get this hour to brainstorm and work on it but the rest you'll have to do at home." The teacher continues his explanation about the project. "I hope he paired us." I whisper to my friend. "Yes, oh or what about if you get paired with Shotaro?" She wiggles her eyebrows at me. "Stop it no, I won't be able to stay calm. He's just too perfect and adorable. But it could be my chance to get a date with him." We giggle, the teacher gave us a simple glare as a warning.

"Okay and then next we have f/n (friend name) and Shotaro." We look at each other. "No way. Please give him some hints about me or try to figure out if he likes me too." I pout. "I will of course." She smiles. "And y/n you go with Renjun. Don't worry this might help you raise your grades, I'm just doing it for your own good." He tells me. I nod and take my notebook and pencil before getting up and moving next to Renjun. He was sitting in the corner.

"Hi y/n." He smiles which is weird, I barely see the boy smile. "Hey." I sit next to him. "So what will we do as subject?" I ask him. "Anything you'd like is fine by me." He says. My eyes landed on my friend and Shotaro. "Y-y/n?" Renjun waves his hand in front of me. "Sorry, I was a little distracted." I apologise. "By what? Shotaro? Really him? You can get so much better." He scoffs and shook his head. "Shotaro is a good guy. I'm sure he's good enough for me as well." I say.

"I'm way better." He mumbles. "Excuse me?" I didn't get what he said. "Uh nothing so the project." He starts. "We need to stay around climate change so why don't we talk about how it has an impact on the animals and we as humans?" He suggests. "Fine I guess, I don't know. I just suck at this class." I groan annoyed to why we gotta do this. "Don't say that. You're just doing your best. Anyway so can we meet at my place after school? To continue this work?" He asks me. "Sure, we'll see each other at the gates." I tell him.

"Great. Now that's clear we can discuss how we're going to bring this to the class. PowerPoint or do we bring pictures, what do you want?" Renjun asks. "What seems the best to you?" I ask. "I'm asking you. I want your opinion, that's also important right." He keeps looking at me, but not just looking it almost creeps me out. "PowerPoint sounds good, we can do that." I look at the time, still 15 minutes. "Did someone ever told you, you've got pretty eyes." I was confused by his sudden compliment. "Um thanks I guess." What a weirdo.

"Hi y/n." My friend walks up to me. "Hey, so did Shotaro say something about me?" We walk through the hallway. I see Renjun opening his locker. What's on the inside shocked me. Are those pictures of me? He has pictures of me in his locker! Omg no, I must be dreaming. Why'd Renjun have pictures of me. He looks at me and waves. I act like I didn't see. "Let's go to the bathroom." I lock my arms with f/n and we walk to the bathroom together. She continues her story. Once we walk out I see Renjun waiting next to the door, startling me.

I take f/n with me to the cafeteria. "I think Renjun's a freak." I whispered, in case someone or he himself heard. "Why? Did he do something?" She asks. "Well he gave me weird compliments, he keeps staring, I thought to see pictures of me in his locker and just now he was standing outside the bathrooms waiting for me to come out." I tell her. "You're insane. Why'd he do that? He's just another nerd who just studies all day and reads." She tells me. I'm getting nervous to go to his home later.

I see Renjun waiting at the gate for me, please don't be a freak. "Y/n!" His creepy smile appears again. "Let's go shall we." He walks to the parking lot. "You drive?" I questioned. "Yeah. Unlike Shotaro some people do got their license already. I can drive you wherever you want without problems." That was unnecessary to say but okay. I get in and he starts driving. He turns off the radio. "I'm happy mr Kim paired us for this project. I'm sure we'll do great together. We can maybe do this more often after this."

"Welcome to my house. Just be yourself, but do take your shoes off please." He points out. I take off my shoes. "D-did you just lock the door?" I ask when I heard the lock. "That's because it doesn't close well." He chuckles. He puts the key back in his pocket. "Want something to drink?" I slowly nod. "Where are your parents?" I ask. "Not here. Business meetings or so I don't get involved in their work and I don't want to. I got my own work to do." He smiles. I take the bottle of water he gave me and then followed him upstairs.

He opens his bedroom door, everything was dark but I already walked in. He closed the door and once again locked it. He turns on the lights and I suddenly see a whiteboard with different pictures, drawings and hearts all around my name. He really is a freak! "What is that?" I point at it and ask him nervously. "That's my collage of the person I love so much. You know, I don't really like how you adore Shotaro so much, you should be looking at me. Loving me the way I love you."

"But I don't love you." I say. "Yes you do! And you will for the rest of your life. We'll get married and have kids together and live a long and happy life. You and me are perfect for each other. You love me y/n and I love you." He corners me and slowly starts to lean in. "You're mine now, mine you understand that? If you ever dare to disobey me... you know what you'll see when that happens. I hope for you it doesn't." He smirks. He scares me. What have I gotten myself into? He's obsessed over me!
