CHAPTER 2

"Congratulations to the newly wed." Sabay sabay na sabi ng mga bisita.

"Tsk I'm bored." Sabay na natawa ang mga kasama ko sa isang dining table.

"Find someone who can satisfy you, Andrade." Ken said with a smirk in his face while the others just stared at me with a dim expression in their faces.

"Kahit kailan talaga napaka killjoy mo, Andrade." Axelle said then drink his wine. I look at him with laziness.

"And you, Caste. How many do I tell you not to use girls for your own pleasure. Dinadamay mo pa 'tong si Andrade." Ace laughed.

"Hindi ka na nasanay diyan." He laughed again.

"Tsk." I said then drink my wine.

"Kita mo 'to. Apaka killjoy talaga. Hindi ka ba masaya na kinasal na ang pinakakuripot sa atin." Luke said when he heard me. He's referring Ashter Mendoza.

"Paki mo." Naiiritang sambit ko. Pero ang mga gago tinawanan lang ako na parang mga bata dahil sa inasta ko.

"Ikaw pa naman best man ni Mendoza pero parang ikaw ang pinakawalang pakialam sa kasal niya." I just glared at Axelle who's now smirking to me.

As if they don't know me. I said to myself.

"Maybe because he will be the next one to marry." Axelle said then laughed after he said it.

"Can you go to the comfort room and face the mirror." I glared at Axelle. "Why?" He ask me and he has confused look on his face.

"Because what you said will reflect on you." I stared at him with smirk. Napanganga lahat ng kasama ko kasama na si Axelle na sinabayan pa ng paglaki ng mga mata nito.

An awkward silence filled our table.

"Hindi ka naman manghuhula 'no?" Ace interrupted the silence between us.

"Maybe. It's just a hunch." I said then look at Axelle again. Ilang minuto lang ay nahimasmasan na siya at biglang tumawa ng malakas kaya napatingin lahat ng bisita sa table namin.

"Man, I want to throw up." Sambit nito habang hawak hawak ang tiyan nito. "Hindi ko maimagine ang sinabi mo, Andrade." He said between his laugh. Ken gave him a bench towel. Agad naman niya itong kinuha saka pinunasan ang mata nitong lumuha dahil sa sobrang tawa nito.

"Let's see. At kapag nagkatotoo ang sinabi ko. Just prepare a huge amount. Sisingilin kita." I look at Axelle with a cold and serious face while he just stared at me with a bored look on his face. Parang hindi nanggaling sa matinding pagtawa ang mokong.

"Deal." Aniya. Halata sa itsura nito na determinado siya.

Samantalang ang iba na palipat lipat ang tingin sa aming dalawa na animo'y may kuryenteng lumalabas sa pagitan naming dalawa.

"Sali." Lumingon ako sa nagsalita. I saw Ken with a pout on his face. I almost throw up because of his annoying face.

What is he? A duck.

"Me too." Luke interfered.

"Me three." Ace added while his raising his both hands.

"Tsk. What a bunch of childish grown ups." I irritatedly said to them but they just laugh at me in unison.

We just sitted there for an hour talking and babbling many stupid things, eating and especially drinking. Habang patuloy ang party after ng wedding nina Ashter at Maisie. I choose to drink the hard drinks to ease my boredom while the others busy talking nonsense to one another.

Inilibot ko ang paningin ko sa paligid. Nothing change at this Island. It's still beautiful after so many years. Luke Khyllique Stelford owns this Island for a long time but I don't know why he's still stuck on his own mansion on the village. Minsan lang lumalabas sa bahay nito.
