CHAPTER 25

"Circess, investigate all the information about Laurayzia Sandoval." Pagkadating na pagkadating pa lang sa headquarters ay iyon agad ang sinabi ko.

When I see her again, all I want is to hug and kiss her but jealousy hits me when she smiles to Ace. Parang gusto kong manuntok dahil sa nakita kong iyon. Ever since I seen her earlier in their mansion. Isang salita lang ang lumabas sa bibig ko. Halos sabunutan ko ang sarili ko dahil sa frustration na nararamdaman ko.

She left me dumbfounded and never turn her back on me. Mas lalo akong nasaktan sa ginawa niya. But I pretended to not be hurt and remained emotionless.
Umalis ako doon nang hindi nagpapaalam kahit kanino maski sa mga kaibigan ko. Pinaandar ko na ang sasakyan diretso dito sa headquarters.

Mabilis akong umupo sa sofa bago hinilot ang sentido ko para mabawasan at maibsan ang bigat ng nararamdaman ko ngayong araw. I just thought I'm going to enjoy the day with my friends pero may ibang pangyayari na palang nagaganap ng hindi ko inaasahan katulad nung una.

I pretended to not know her the first time I seen her but now, I don't know what just happened to me. My pretending and patience snap for a second and let my true emotion succumb me so much. Mabuti na lang at nakontrol ko din ito agad.

I heard my someone knock on the door three and I see Circess pull the door. She has the usual expression. Hinintay ko lang na makaupo siya bago iniabot sa akin ang folder.

"Mga impormasyon tungkol kay Laurayzia Sandoval. Tell me, Hades. Is she....?" I cut her to talk. Itinaas ko ang kamay ko para patigilin siya.

Binuksan ko ang folder at binasa lahat ng mga impormasyon tungkol sa kanya. Halos mapunit ang hawak kong papel nang mabasa ko ang lahat ng nakasulat doon. Nilamukos ko iyon at malakas na binati sa kung saan.

"Where is Laurayzia's son now?" I asked her.

"Nasa Baguio ang bata kasama niya ang kapatid ni Laurayzia na si Lazarus Sandoval."

"Hades, Is this true?" I stared at her and give her the right answer. Doon ay napatango tango siya.

"I'm going to see this little boy and confirm everything. Take care of everything for me now, Circess. I'm counting on you. Tell maddox and Hide to act as CEO on my companies."

I see a little smile on her lips before answering my commands on her. "Roger that, Hades. You can count on us. At sana magkita kayo ng matiwasay ng pamangkin ko."

I heard him whispered something in the end but I don't heard it fully. Tumango na lang ako at lumabas agad siya sa opisina ko. Tinawagan ko naman agad si Dad para ipaalam na pupunta akong Baguio ngayon. Hindi na ako magsasayang ng oras para dito. Kung makumpirma ko man ang lahat ay ilang taon din akong nagkulang sa kanya. Inabot nang dalawang oras bago makalapag ang sinasakyan ko dito sa hotel na tutuluyan ko ngayong gabi.

I dialed Circess emergency number. "Which hotel room did they check in?"

"Katabi ng hotel room na tinutuluyan mo. Don't tell me you forgot. Nasabi ko na kanina iyan sa'yo. Masyado ka namang excited, Trojan." I almost imagine her grinning from ear to ear. At ngayon ko lang din narinig sa kanya na tinawag ako sa pangalam ko. She always says "boss" or "Hades" to me but today's is different.

"Ok. I get it. I'll end the call. Naiimagine ko itsura mo." Narinig ko ang pagtawa nito bago ko pinatay ang tawag. I always known her ever since we were kids because she's my cousin, Princess Ellena Andrade.

I sighed.

I hope that kid is mine.

MORNING came. I'm busy sipping my coffee in the terrace when I heard noises on the other room. Napalingon ako sa terrace ng katabi kong hotel room.
