There is so much to do

- Elizabeth's Pov - 8 weeks later -

The days seemed to roll into one once Tristan was here. All sorts of things went on. Zeldris and Gelda snuck away to Las Vegas and got married. Apparently, they were sick of planning their wedding. Mary and Bard weren't happy. Ban got yeeted off the castle wall by Elaine when he called Zeldris a legend for eloping. It is a cheaper idea but Meliodas said he wants to do this the proper way. I think that statement made me love him even more.

It was mid-morning, I was still sat in bed. Tristan and Meliodas were snoring. I had been up a few hours. Not because of the baby but mainly because I needed to sort out our wedding.
*PING*
*PING*
Meliodas groaned as he lifted his head off the pillow.
*PING*
"What is that noise?" He grumbled. He put his head under the pillows as he wanted to cover his ears.
"My phone. Sorry, I thought it was on vibrate"
"What time is it?"
"10" I wrote in my notebook.
"Why didn't you wake me?" Meliodas sat up rubbing his eyes.
"You needed to sleep. You have done the last two night shifts with monkey bum" I picked my phone up "Great. Marching orders from Diane"
"What are you doing?" Meliodas stretched. He then leaned over and kissed my cheek "Morning Baby"
"Morning baby. Diane and I are sorting the wedding bits out" I showed him the book "Was thinking that we could go shopping today. Get some bits for the wedding"
"What do we need to do?"
"We need to look at getting rings. Make a guest list. Hire a photographer, Cater, DJ or band, Florist. Make sure Ban doesn't overdo it in his speech. Send out wedding invites. Sort out the wedding transport. Establish a skincare/ beauty and fitness routine. Choose bridal party attire and accessories. First, choose bridesmaids. Choose better Flowers than Meliodas. Pick something new, old, blue and borrowed. Ask Zhivago to walk me down the Aisle. Make sure Meliodas gets the marriage license" I listed.
"I dread how Diane is gonna be if she ever gets married. Do you think there is gonna be a bunker we could hide in?" Meliodas asked. I chuckled as I nodded. I then reached for my phone "There is so much to do" Meliodas huffed as he raised his eyebrows "Have you decided on your bridesmaids?"
"Yes actually. Diane, Elaine, Gelda and Zelda, I just have to ask them. I also need to ask Zhivago to walk me down the Aisle" I smile "Who is your groomsmen?"
"Zeldris, King Essy and Tristan. Ban's my best man"
"I didn't think that you would pick Essy"
"Of course I would. He's my Brother after all" Meliodas smiled at me. I gave him a look that was like when you look over glasses.
"The truth?"
"Mum made me"
"I thought as much"
"I wasn't going to ask him as I am still getting to know him but Mum said it would be a good idea. Essy tried to complain but Mum put her foot down"
"Surprised I didn't feel the earthquake from here" I jested. Meliodas rolled his eyes at.
"So what's next on the calendar?"
"When's your suit fitting?" I pulled up my calendar.
"Next week on Friday"
"Right that is in the calendar" I tucked my hair over my ear "God my hair needs cutting"
"Anton should be at the Salon today. Add it to the mountain of lists" Meliodas laid back on the pillow "I can't believe that it is only 7 months till the wedding"
"I know, It's gone so quick, Right, Let's get dress and get to town"

"So where is first on the list?" I smiled. Meliodas pulled into the car park. Tristan was cooing away in the car seat.
"I think we should divide and conquer. I'll find the cater and DJ and you find the florist, Since Diane said you had to pick better flowers than me" Meliodas smiled.
"I'm sure you would have picked beautiful ones"
"What's the date for the wedding again?"
"25th of May. Pick whatever flowers you want. Well, not Lillie's. I hate Lillie's" Meliodas shuddered.
"Me and Tristan will meet you in a half-hour at the fountain" We climbed out of the car and walked inside.
"Okay. See you in half an hour" I bent down slightly and kissed my man bye. I then bent down fully and kissed Tristan's forehead "Bye baby. Be good for Daddy"
"I'm only going to be half an hour. Honestly, How much trouble could we cause?" Meliodas grinned.
"Do I need to answer that?"
"Laters baby" Meliodas waved by as my boys wandered off.

He went over to the elevator while I stayed on the ground floor and struggled to find a florist. There used to be one on the ground floor but it had shut down. I walked to the fountain and sulked.
"Penny for ya thoughts?" Ban said as he flicked my forehead. Making me jump "Hey Sis"
"Hey Ban, I'm wedding planning" I sighed as I fiddled with my fingers. Ban frowned and rubbed his chin "I can't find a florist"
"Why didn't you ask a certain Fairy and Giant" He exclaimed "The ones that you are in business with"
"Ask a certain Fairy and Giant what?" Meliodas said out of nowhere making Ban jump. At least this time, He didn't fall in the fountain. Meliodas came over to me and kissed me on the lips "Hey baby. Yo Ban"
"Yo Captain" Ban did a two finger wave.
"Yo. So what you gonna ask certain a Fairy and Giant?" Meliodas tilted his head.
"Well, I had no luck with the florist. There was a florist that was here has shut down and Ban said I should ask Diane and Elaine to do the flowers since they did the flowers" I said as Meliodas folded his arms.
"Hmm, I like that idea. Besides, it will keep Diane busy" He beamed.
"So did you have any luck with the DJ and cater?" I tilted my head. Tristan started screaming at us "Aww Baby boy. Are you hungry?" Meliodas soothed "Nope. Got nothing" Meliodas picked Tristan up out of the pram and started feeding him the bottle.
"I can do food. Estarossa can help me" Ban clicked his fingers.
"And what about music?" Meliodas said he pulled a poker face.
"Zeldris. He has all that equipment"
"Who knew you had a brain?" Meliodas joked.
"Well, I am your best man after all. My job to help when things fuck up" Ban beamed.
"We gonna have to run all this past our wedding planner," I said.
"Run what past me?" Diane said as walked behind Ban. Making him jump "So what you gonna run past me?"
"We can't get a cater, a florist or DJ so Ban came up with some ideas" I went on to explain what Ban had said. Diane pulled out her phone and typed something.
"Hmmm. This seems like it will work a lot better and be cheaper. Will have to have a word with Ban about the food. I ain't letting him have all full control over that. I will have a word with King and Elaine about the flowers. I'm sure that Zeldris will be fine doing the music" Diane went on a ramble as she paced up and down.
"I wonder if we can sneak off again" Meliodas whispered in my ear. He grabbed my hand and we snuck away while Diane was in the mid of ramble. Again.

We went up to the third floor and walked into the place Meliodas recommended.
"Ah Monsieur Meliodas, Welcome back" The only dude in this shop spoke with a French accent, Shook Meliodas's hand "And welcome Mademoiselle Elizabeth" The dude kissed me on both cheeks "Awww, is this the little one?"
"Yeah, Anton. Meet Tristan" Meliodas beamed.
"What can I help you with today?" Anton spoke.
"Before Meliodas comes out with his Dad jokes. I would like this mess trimming" I explained. Anton went ape. He was fangirling like Diane and it was a bit much.
"Follow me, my lovely" Anton ordered as we went to a near table. I sat down in the chair and Anton threw a cape over me "Right, What are you looking for?"
"Back to just off my shoulders"
"I love this look for you. Monsieur Meliodas. You can take a walk" Anton waved Meliodas away. Meliodas pouted, then shrugged and lounged on the sofa, Chatting away to Tristan.

"Where are we going now?" I asked as Meliodas linked his hands with mine.
"The jewellers. We still need to pick the rings" Meliodas grinned. We went up to the third floor and walked into the jewellers.
"Well if it isn't Meliodas. How are you doing lad?" The only dude in this shop spoke with a thick Irish accent, Shook Meliodas's hand "And who is this lovely lady?"
"Hey, Mac. This my Fiancee, Elizabeth and my boy Tristan" Meliodas presented us both. I gripped the pram's handle.
"Cracker of a lass and your boy is a heart breaker" Mac grinned. I blushed a little. Meliodas put his hand on the small of my back.
"Thanks. So wanna help me out again?" Meliodas grinned.
"Absolutely. What can I help you with today?" Mac spoke.
"We need some wedding bands. We set the date for May 25th" Meliodas explained. Mac went ape.
"This way, I gather by the look the engagement you brought for the lass, You want rings on the same scale?" Mac put his hands on his hips.
"Maybe not on that scale" I mutter "Maybe some simple bands will do"
"I understand lass. Right, follow me" Mac ordered as we went to a near table. We sat down and Mac pulled out his kit "Right, I need to take a measure from both your ring fingers"
