Chapter 16- Court

I wake up in Lauren's arms. I get out and change into clean clothes. I quickly eat something and then there is a knock on the door. I open it and it's the police car. I walk out with her and we go to the court house. She stays with me until the girls show up about 30 minutes later.

We go into the court room and we all sit down. The judge walks in and we all stand. As soon a the judge sits down we sit down.

Ok so this is case number 34554 custody battle between Mr. Owens and Ms. Jauregui. Are both people present? Asks the judge.

Yes sir they both say

Mr. Owens, why do you think Callie should go back to your custody? Considering your past with Callie being in the home.

She should go into my custody because I have changed for the better. I have stopped drinking and I have a stedy job. I regret what I did to Callie and if I could I would take it. Can. He says

I can't help but role my eyes at him.

Ms. Jauregui why should I put Callie in your custody? Asks the judge

Callie should be in my custody because I take care of her. She has been the best thing that has ever happened to me. She has opened up so much since she came to live with us. She loves all the girls and jodan. She's like a daughter to me. Says Lauren.

Mr. Owens do you have a witness wiling to say that you have changed? Asks the judge

Yes I do my son Brandon he says

My mouth drops open

Hello, I'm Brandon and I just wanted to say my dad has really changed and he should have custody of Callie so we can be a family again. He says

Thank you Brandon. Says the judge

I have come to a verdict, and I believe that Callie should go to Mr. Owens he says

What! I yell

Case closed! Callie go home with your father. Says the judge leaving.

I run over to Lauren and hug her. She had tears streaming down her face.

Don't let him take me I say

Callie let's go! Says my dad

I quickly hug everyone else before walking to the car. We get in and drive away.

We pull up to my house and we go inside. My dad grabs my arm and takes me down to the basement. He puts me into a room he kicks my feet out from under me and I hit the ground. He puts something around my ankle and walks to the door.

You are never leaving this room he says

He walks out and I try to get the chain that he attached to my ankle.
I look around the room to see a bathroom connected to the room.

There was a knock on the door and it opens. Brandon walks in and sits on the end of the bed.

I'm sorry Cal he says

Why would you say that! You knew he was lying! Why did you take me away from my family! I scream

He was going to kill me if I didn't! I'm sorry Cal he says

You need to help me get out of here! I say

I'll see what I can do. He says

I'm supposed to go on tour next month. With Cimorelli, Demi Lavoto, Ariana grande, and fifth harmony! I have to get out of here I say
