He was laying there in his hospital bed.

After yesterday's incident,it felt like we were so close yet so far.

I was worried for him,however, something else was also on the back of my mind.

Last week,something had happened. At first,I tought he wasn't serious about it but the recents events and what I received seemed to prove the contrary.

Walking slowly to not disturb the concerned sleep,I put the flowers I bought for him in the vase next to his bed.

I sat back and pondered in silence. I remembered what happened the week before yesterday's game.

At first,it started with a very simple message on Monday,nothing much to note. He was just saying "hi".

I responded casually with a "hi,how are u doing?",wich was followed by a "I'm doing ok,I-i guess".

He continued that trend by sending me a message everyday,gradually evolving in their intent. However,there was nothing weird about them until a certain point.

The point of convergence was that last message,that he sent me before the game that I didn't take notice to.

" You know for a while,I've been thinking about how much fun I have when I spend time you. At first,I didn't pay much attention to it cause I didn't think it was that serious. Just friends having fun,you know. However, with each months passing,I started to realise something. I wondered what would happen if we drifted apart and that's when it hit me. I love your cute laugh, I adore your unique voice. You shine so bright that sometimes I feel like I'll be blinded by you. "

Since I didn't see it,I didn't answer him. Besides, it kinda came out of nowhere. This wasn't one of the thing I was expecting from him. For sure, he was a lot different from before but the confidence needed to write that kind of message was beyond what I expected.

I sighed. I didn't know how to answer to that for the moment. I mean,it kinda came outta nowhere. Helas,I still wasnt sure if he was serious or not. Sometimes, he kinda makes jokes like that so he's kind of hard to have a grasp on. However,if he was serious....

After some tought,I was finally decided about my answer. I had to ask him something 1st however.
