MISDIRECTED CHAPTER: One of Those

" You really think that was for me to hear? I mean, come on."

She couldn't understand where she was getting at. 

Rae: " I mean, it was right? Who else could he have meant it to be for?"

She wanted to rub in her face how obvious the answer to her interrogation was.

" Oh my god, you guys...."

" In the first place, why are you acting so mad?"

Rae:" I'm not mad!"

She said angrily.

" Sure."

Rae:" It's just that....."

It seemed like she wanted to say something but turned in her mind how it should come out the best way as possible.

" It's just that what?"

Rae: " It feels weird."

" What?"

Rae: " How to put it? It feels like I'm glad for you guys but I'm not particularly pleased about it at the same time."

" You're one of those....."

Rae: " One of those what?" 

She refrains from laughing.

" What was the word again? Tsundere or something like that?"

Rae: " I'm not!"

" Anyway, the fact of the matter is that you're overthinking things since this morning."

Rae: " I don't think I am."

She suddenly showed her a diary.

Rae: " What is that?"

" Everyone in this house knew that supposed secret except yourself."

Rae: " Why are you suddenly saying that?" 

She continued.

" What he said, he meant to say it to you."

Her mouth opened in surprise.

Rae: " What makes you say that?"

" Oh, come on. You're the one who looked the other way. He never looked away from you once."

A sudden realization hit her.

Rae: " You mean.....He likes me?......"

The receptor of those words shaked her head.

" Well, yeah. "

Rae: " Don't be ridiculous, that's not possible. "

Her unwillingness to accept that possibility threw her off.

" Why is it not possible exactly?"

Once again, she didn't wanna answer. She was almost on the point on giving up, considering she had said she wouldn't help him. 

The others were calling for them from below.

Rae: " We'll see about that later ."

She noticed how much of an hurry she was in. She didn't wanna comment on it.

" Leaving fast, aren't you?"

She ignored the callout and precipitated to the room below.

They had been waiting for them for a good amount of time.

They took their seat at the table.

Lily: " So what were you guys talking about?"

" Well, ask this guy", she said pointing out angrily at the culprit of the situation.
