She seemed more gloomy than when they were outside the train.
They had been standing two seats apart from each other.
It was a distance comfortable for the two of them.
" Why did I do exactly for you to be scared of me? Technically, we just met."
Camie shook her head in disapprovement.
" I heard."
One of eyebrow moved to emphasis the fact she didn't understand what she meant by " I heard".
" What are you talking about ? What exactly did you hear?"
She repeated her exact words.
" You said that you were also here."
Her eyes opened wide to reflect her surprise. Her attention drawn to her feet, Camie couldn't help but notice the circles she was drawing with them.
She was looking at her feet, while answering:
" I- I did say that."
Camie replicated the earlier eyebrow motion she had seen. She closed the distance between them.
The happy-go-lucky girl had disappeared and was replaced by someone far more serious.
As Camie came more close, she shooed her away. There was something about her she felt disturbing in a sense.
In response, Camie slowed down on her approach and settled one sear away would be a suitable distance.
She finally started to get back on the topic she introduced at last.
Camie: " You scare me because, sometimes, it feels like he gives you more importance than me."
She tought that statement to be the epitome of selfishness.
" I mean, I've known him a long time before you . Isn't it normal? "
She couldn't refute her point.
Camie smirked as she jokingly said something to her.
Camie: " Are you trying to steal him from me?"
Her sudden switch of behaviour disturbed her. However, she remembered the story he told her about the broken phone. Then, it started to make sense in her mind.
" Maybe I should."
The both of them were suddenly engulfed in contemplative silence.
" ( What did I just say?!)", she tought.
Camie mouth opened in surprise. Her built up stress made her stutter to no extent.
Camie: " W-w-w-what? "
She couldn't control herself anymore. The emotions that were contained when she was in the theater with them exploded.
" Is that happy attitude fake? Is this the real you? I really think he shouldn't date dishonest people like you."
Camie seemed to be a bit startled by what she said.
Camie: " Both are real. No one is ever one dimensional."
" Why don't you show him that side more often, then?", she said with a smug look.
Camie, looking the other way: " I-I'm just a little impulsive and he already knows that!"
" Really good of you to take care of people belonging."
She had said " take care" in quotations hand signs.
Camie boiled with rage.
Camie: " That was an accident!"
" Oh, it's my stop."
She stoop and immediately left, only saying a " goodbye" to her without anything added to it.
As she took a step outside the inner of the train, they had both realised something.
They couldn't stand each other.
