Sykkuno: " What? What could I have to tell you? "
Rae: " You're lying, I can see it."
She lifted the cup up and presented it to him.
Rae: " You bought it for me, right?"
At first, he seemed hesitant to respond but decided to say so anyway.
Sykkuno: " Well, yeah. "
Rae: " Why?"
Sykkuno: " I tought you would like it."
Rae: " Yeah, I do. So don't decide for me before hand if i'll like it or not."
Sykkuno: " Who told you?!"
She answered with a joke.
Rae: " The cofee told me."
He was concerned.
Sykkuno: " Rae, are you ok?"
She retorqued.
Rae: " No, the question is are you ok?"
Sykkuno: " What?"
The next words she uttered shocked him and turned his cheek as red as tomatoes.
Rae: " I'm giving you the occasion to tell me right now, you don't have to search on the net anymore."
He realised what she was talking about.
Sykkuno: " Who told you?!"
Rae: " You may not believe me but the cofee told me. For real ."
Seeing how she was insisting it was the cofee, it didnt feel like confronting that stance.
Sykkuno: " Huh, if you say so."
As a snap back to reality, he remembered what the conversation was about in the first place.
Sykkuno: " A-an occasion to say it? "
Rae: " I won't go. I'll be waiting."
He hesitated, before finding courage.
" I love you", he said as the cofee finally got cold and " took you long enough" , she said as the room stayed warm.
P.s: Well, this is the end of this one shot. You could tell at some point, but I was experimenting a lot with it. The next one will have a more normal setting.
On a sidenote, it was fun searching for synonym and translation in that story.
