MISDIRECTED CHAPTER: The Teaser laughter

She couldn't believe it. She wasn't expected him to suddenly declare such a bold statement.

The words he said were repeating in her mind like an echo.

Toast: " You guys are finally done with whatever you were doing in the kitchen ?"

" What?!"

This snarky comment snapped her out of her toughts.

Toast: " Pinching his nose. Unless you tought I was talking about something else?"

He had the same all knowing smile Lily had demonstrated earlier.

" Oh come on."

She suddenly had the urge to ask a question.

" Did you know he....."

She refrained from asking.

Toast: " Did you know what? Who's he?"

She tried to turn around what she wanted to say.

" Sykkuno's pretty bold today."

He seemed surprised.

Toast: " Oh, did he?"

" How do you know?"

Toast: " Did he really say it?"

" Yeah."

Toast: " So what did he say to you exactly?"

" To me? What?"

The conversation had spiraled.

" Are we talking about the same thing?"

Toast: " Now I'm confused. Who did he say that to exactly?"

Considering in her mind, the misconception was the secret, she didn't really want to say it.

" A-ask him", she said, hesitation heard in her voice.

The two others had finally left the other room. At this exact moment, Toast understood the full situation.

Toast: " So, that's what you meant."

He laughed a little on the inside.

Toast: " Did you really think he said that to her ?"

Nothing to answer his words, the receptor of them had already left the scene in an hurry.

Sykkuno: " Hey, Toast. Did you see Rae?"

Even tough he knew the answer, he still asked. After all, he wanted to tease him a little.

Toast: " Why? Do you need her presence for something specific?"

The subject of the question knew that tone all too well. Each time he had already the response to something, he always used that tone to tease him.

However, he couldn't do anything about it.

Sykkuno: " Just to clear up a misunderstanding."

He wasn't trying to show it but he was cackling inside. He already had the full picture of what had happened.

Toast: " Yeah, yeah, sure thing. I don't know where she went tho. "

Sykkuno: " Well, that's a bummer..."

Yvonne: " We're all in the same house, you'll eventually see her. Now, if you could please clean up what you left in there. " 

Sykkuno: " Ok, ok."

Sykkuno returned to the room to act upon this order.

Before he could take another step, he could hear the last remark made.

Toast: " I like the picture too."

After this comment, the pleased teaser returned to his occupations, laughing to his heart content.

Yvonne: " Yikes, my dude."

" Please, don't start too", was the only comeback he could muster
